This vacuum has excellent suction power. I was surprised to see just how dirty my floors were. The amount of material captured by this vacuum that wasn't by my older cheaper vacuum was a little disturbing. I would probably buy a smaller Dyson if you don't have pets, or if you have an apartment/small home. I have an apartment and it is honestly overkill.

The most amazing vacuum I’ve owned. This is my second Dyson. The first one is still working but It’s 14 years old. I needed an upgrade due to kids and pets. I love the attachments with this vacuum too

This vacuum is a delight; very nicely designed. Easy to maneuver, effective on bare and carpeted floors, as well as upholstery. The power cord is long enough to allow vacuuming several rooms without changing power outlets. Clever wand and crevice tool reach hard-to-get places. A great upgrade from my prior vacuums.

This is my second dyson after 14 yrs. Yes the first one lasted for 14 yrs and cannot think of getting anything else. Hopefully they can make it more economical in coming yrs

All I can say is if you have pets and you have purchased anything BUT a Dyson. Stop thinking about it and invest. It is the best most powerful Vacuum I have ever purchased. Picks up dog hair like nothing. I don't have to worry about adjusting to the floor type or anything like that. I'm so happy with my new vacuum! I look forward to using it!!

We own a Dyson V6 and with a German Shepherd and a two story house the V6 was great but felt like we had to empty a lot. Got the animal+allergy and I was shocked how much dirt and hair got picked up. Definitely worth the money. Dyson service was great for the V6 when the battery had an issue they shipped a new one and received it in two days.

I did not want to spend this much money on a vacuum, but so far it is living up to it price tag.

Never use anything else once I've used a Dyson. I can't believe how much pet hair it picks up!

it sucks well until it pluggs up. I searched everywhere the flow of air to find where it was plugged. I couldnt find it at all. returned to bestbuy and was refunded towards a newer model. Newer model works better and was cheaper.

Definitely has great suction but it's heavy and hard to move around. still, suction outweighs it all

Works great on carpet and tile. Seems to have great suction.

I must say that I used to have an old DC model and I loved it. However this model does feel a bit flimsy and you can't manually adjust the height of the vacuum for your carpet since it has an automatic adjusting head for floor surface. However the suction is good but I still wanna try it out for another few months just to make sure thought to be honest. Over all it does pic up allot of fine micro dust that I'm happy with.

Picked up dust and dirt I didn't know we had. Set up was easy. Hose extension is a little weird but small price to pay for awesomeness.

Wow! This vacuum is amazing! I was shocked to see all the hair, sand and dirt that came up off my floor. I have both carpet and tile and it worked great on both. The level of suction on this vacuum is super strong! I cant wait to try some other Dyson products.

I was skeptical about spending so much money on a vacuum but I was proven wrong. What a difference this vacuum makes. Highly recommended

This vacuum worked great, but the motor died after 11 months. I still need to get it serviced, but we have a second vacuum. Although it’s not nearly a good as the Dyson.

i bought this because i have a dog and it does extremely well.... also the attachements for the stairs actually work!!!

This has been an amazing cleaner. I have 3 German Shepherds and 2 cats after cleaning with this carpets look brand new.
