It works perfect. I am sure that will last few years until I have to buy a new model.

I've had so many issues in the past with my vacuums, so I decided to give it a try. It's very good. I like how easy it is to clean out the dirt. My only complaint is that it's not great for thicker carpets, the wheels don't spin well. But for the thinner carpets and hardwood or tiles, it's great!

Our older animal Dyson from many years ago worked fine on our carpet. Unfortunately this one will stop the bristles from spinning after only a few feet of movement. Buyer beware if you have very plush carpet, this may not be the vacuum for you. We contacted Dyson and they suggested either to not rotate the bristles or to modify the unit to "remove seals." I did not feel comfortable about modifying a brand new expensive vacuum so returned it instead.

We have a 3300 sq ft home and I was a little worried about not buying a cordless vacuum, but the cord on this new vacuum is extra long. I only need to plug it in at a central location on each floor and it's perfect. The suction power is amazing.

With pets and kids in the house, this is a miracle machine. My favorite feature is no filter and the powerful suction it has. Makes my continuous floor cleaning sessions faster and smoother.

Best Vacuum ever! Completely worth every dollar spent. Perfect for people with pets.

This is our second one we are purchasing for upstairs level of our house. Carpet looks original. finds dirt /dust you did not know was there.

Although I cannot imagine buying anything other than a Dydon product I preferred my old Dydon DC 17 Animal over this one. Although the lighter weight and easier movement is nice the canister is smaller and does not empty as easily. I also does not seem as though this one will hold up as well as my old one but time will tell.

I was tired of buying vacuums having two dogs so I decided to buy this one it does pick up things and hair very well but it is poorly designed for attachments and just basic use. The handle feels cheap almost like it's going to break off every time you use it and it does not stand up on its own very well the attachments don't even get me started on those Dyson definitely is only focused on the suction that's for sure cuz it does suck

Super awesome vacuum! Picked up alot more debris than the Purple animal dyson! Highly recommend to buy this one versus the purple animal dyson.

This Dyson is GREAT! It really helps with all of the dog hair we have.

Pick up and turbo tool is excllent. However the vaccum is too hard to move left and right

This Dyson vacuum works super great. I have four dogs in my house and this vacuum takes care of all the hair they leave everywhere. I love the extension hose on it too, it reaches in places I couldn't get to with my other vacuum. Love my dyson.

Have had one for 15 yrs. Decided to buy another. Like the new design.

Love the suction on this vacuum. We vacuum weekly regardless, however took it upstairs after purchase to use for the first time--filled 1.5 cannisters of stuff. Makes us want to get rid of our cushion carpet that was just put in 2 years ago. Not giving 5 stars because the tilt feature to stand is sketchy.

This is the best vacuum I have ever owned. I was shocked at how much more it pulled out of the carpet than other vacuums. With animals and children running around, I need a serious vacuum that thoroughly cleans. This one definitely fits the bill!

So far so good. We love the attachments. The swivel ball quickly gets hot to the touch, but we imagine it must be safe, as the vacuum seems to be fine. We wonder about the plastic tubing and the plastic in general, though, and whether it will hold up. Time will tell, we suppose. Again, so far so good. Great buy!

Dyson's best vacuum yet! I love that the extension easily moves an doesn't make the vacuum fall on you when you use it...like the older model I had. The extension is muc more flexible and versatile and the attachements are awesome!!! Nice job Dyson.
