Too powerful

When i first received it, i vacuumed half my house (hardwood) and used various attachments and the suction was amazing!!! And then I tried to go into my carpeted bedrooms and it stopped working. After talking to Dyson support, apparently the vacuum is TOO powerful for my carpets and there is no solution. Thankfully, I am able to return/exchange however very disappointed I am not able to continue to use it!

Our old Dyson is still running strong after 10+ years, so we gave it to our kid and upgraded to this Cinetic Big Ball. Superior Dyson quality is evident in all aspects. Take the 18 mths no interest option and put this thing in your house.

I have tried previous vacuums before that said the usual "pet hair, dust, dandruff, etc." but none ever kept up. This one does! It was slightly frustrating to put together (I yelled at it twice like that was going to help) but once together, I've never had a single problem. I vacuum twice a week and it picks up everything! I will never buy a different vacuum!!
