Dyson Confirms This is Not For Shag
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Having installed new carpet in the master bedroom which is a medium shag carpet, the Dyson rotor kept locking up, called Dyson Customer Service and was advised that the suction is too much for shags and to use the carpet tool attachment. Will keep the vacuum as the rest of the home is hard wood and short carpet. Do not drill holes in your vacuum as some owners have done to use it on shag carpets!

The online Best Buy process was very easy and it was quickly delivered curbside when we arrived at the store.

My dog sheds a ton & this vacuum has no problem picking any of it up. Not a fan of how the hose extension stores on the vacuum and I also prefer a retractable chord, but these are not real issues of concern for me. But if you have an animal or not, this vacuum is great for on carpet use.

Still an amazing vacum and will highly recommend to everyone. I have 3 dogs & 3 cats & this vacum leaves nothing behind.

Love my Dyson

I would recommend this to anyone that carpet and pets.
