This Dyson replaced a top-rated Hoover that broke twice in 8 months. I tried to take a short cut and paid for it. Dyson means quality, durability and long-lasting. This is my 3rd Dyson and each has consistently outperformed my expectations.

It was easy to put together and I couldn't wait to clean. Which is something if you know me. The amount of pet hair it got out of my carpet amazed me. I had no idea my other vacuum wasn't picking it up. It made my house smell less like dog too.

It feels cheap—when it is absolutely not cheap. That being said, I have a Golden Retriever and this vacuum makes easy work of getting all that hair out of the rugs!

No more pet odor from the carpet. Does a great job on tile floors as well. Very pleased with performance and ease of cleaning the brushes and emptying the canister.

The left side as your sweeping squish’s like it’s broke but not all the way or glue that broke free idk. Other than that it’s way better than my old one!

Have 3 cats and severe allergies to them and vacuum all the time. Now I actually like vacuuming and the amount of hair and debris it targets is astounding. Yes I have to empty the receptive often but it's only because of the amount its picking up.

Bad Dyson

Attachments are a pain to carry around in a bag they provide. No release button so often times the vacuum will crash to the floor from an upright position. Really disappointed and wish I would have stayed with my old Dyson that had attachments I could keep on the vacuum and a foot lever that let me decide when I want to travel with the vacuum wheels or drop the ball. The one thing I can say I do love about this model is the awesome suction it had when I first bought it. It would suck every particle in existence, now its just ok 2 years later.

Posted .Hello Ryan, this is Kelly with Dyson. I am sorry to read your review and learn that the motor has died on your Cinetic Big Ball Animal + Allergy. This is certainly not something that we would ever expect to hear, and it's a very unusual occurrence. This vacuum, as with our entire current line-up of uprights, features a quick recline feature. This will avoid the need for pedals or stepping on the front of the machine as with our non-ball models. Rolling the unit around from room to room is recommended to be done with the ball instead of the stabilizer wheels on the back of the ball. You can then put the unit upright once you are done with cleaning and for storage. However, if you are having trouble locking the machine upright after cleaning, your machine would not be performing as designed.

Had tried a similar Shark and didn't think it was good and put it in our camper. Now thinking of putting the old Dyson in that and fixing the Shark away. Will never try another brand again!
