Very please. I was not offered an extended warranty however so am very disappointed in that. Great customer service......over and above

Posted .Hi Morty, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're sorry to read your review, and to see you experienced issues with picking up pet hair with your Cinetic Big Ball Animal + Allergy. Your machine, along with offering some of the strongest suction available in our upright line, will feature a self adjusting active base plate which self-adjusts to create optimal contact with every floor type. This reduces air leaks and retains more suction power at the cleaner head. Your vacuum also includes our tangle-free turbine tool which is excellent at picking up pet hair, without clogging. Frequent obstructions in your machine may occur as a result of poor airflow, which can happen due to an existing obstruction. This blockage of airflow can also result with a loss of suction. I am happy to let you know that most blockages are simple to remove and we find that most problems may be resolved through simple, yet effective troubleshooting at home.

It says no filters to replace and never loses suction. Well that is just tricky marketing and jargon from Dyson because while trying to trouble shot why my vacuum lost suction found out there are actually two replaceable filters and mine are clogged and this lost suction. It’s also not super easy DIY to replace filters at home although it can be done. I hope once my replacement filter comes in $30 this will be back to its glory days. Also hope that these extremely unique filters continue to be produced for the long term but very doubtful as it’s probably not cost effective from a business standpoint. Nice customer service though they are quick to tell you what that fancy marketing really meant. Sigh, conflicted on whether to give this 4 stars or 1 really. We’ll see how it goes.

I'm sorry to read your review, and to see that after several years of use, you've begun to have issues with your Cinetic Big Ball Animal + Allergy vacuum. Our Dyson Cinetic upright vacuum features ball technology, with a central steering mechanism, for greater control and no awkward moves. They are also out first machines to feature no filters to wash or replace, thanks to the oscillating Dyson Cinetic tips located in the cyclone pack. Like all Dyson vacuums, they are designed to not lose suction as long as they are properly maintained as outlined in the user guide.
