I was suprised to see there was a definite increase in price since the last Dyson "Pet Control" vacuum I bought, but man is it worth it. This machine cleans even better than my last one. The release on my last one is what finally broke, and I don't think this one is any better, but the last one lasted 10+ years, so I expect this one to do the same. You pay more for a Dyson, but you get what you pay for.

This Dyson Vacuum cleaner is pretty amazing. It is easily the best vacuum I have purchased when it comes to the quality of the vacuuming, as well as the ease of disposing of the dirt/dust that is picked up. The only thing that is slightly off is the price. It’s difficult to look at the full price and be ok with the purchase, considering that most vacuum cleaners don’t last a long time while maintaining their effectiveness. I was able to buy the vacuum when it was on sale, so I think the purchase was well worth it. Overall, the vacuum is a definite recommendation, but maybe wait until it is on sale.

I had the old Dyson Animal, and recently upgraded to the Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Animal. Let me tell you, this thing sucks- in a good way. It maneuvers better than the non-ball version but it takes a little getting used to how it moves. The best thing about it is all that powerful, vibrating suction. This vacuum pulled dust out of my carpet that my old Animal missed. I was seriously impressed with the power.

I will never buy another vacuum besides Dyson. We have a Golden Retreiver and it works amazingly well. We also live on an island so we are constantly using it in the car to vacuum up sand. We lost our first Dyson in Hurricane Harvey so this is our second one. We also have the cordless one and love them both !! You won’t regret this purchase. You deserve it !

When my old vacuum cleaner died, I decided to splurge and get a Dyson. I already owned a Dyson DC58 handheld vac that has amazing suction power, so it was natural to stick with a brand that had performed so well. The Dyson Cinetic Big Ball is a phenomenal vacuum cleaner that picks up huge amounts of dirt and hair from the carpet. The canister is easy to empty and the vac handles easily, especially in tight corners. My only quibble is that the tools are a bit unwieldy to use and take some practice to handle. While the Dyson is a bit on the pricey side, it's well worth the money.

I previously had a Bissell vacuum stating it had suction power like Dyson's. There was nothing to compare to this vacuum (in its respected price range) it is made of high quality and sucks MOST of my German Shepherd's hair. The accessory tools are okay but seem to snag on furniture due to its sharp corners. In the future I believe Dyson can reduce the weight and change the design due to the oversized ball causing difficulties in hard to reach areas.

Has great suction. Has 5 year warranty. Is kind of heavy though.

Absolutely i love with this vaccume! It picks up everything!! I have a dog and it has cleared up all of the dog hair around my house our carpet even looks brighter! It is very expensive but worth the price! I recommend this vaccume to everyone! Especially if you have Pets! My allergies have been so much calmer since we started using our Vaccum!

We have had this vacuum for about nine months. It works great and cannot believe the amount of dust it picks up in our house. Suction is very good but it is heavy. For myself it’s not bad but for my wife after a while it gets heavy for her to pull around the house. I do wish it had a headlight at the front. We have a much smaller vacuum that has a light and didn’t realize how much and useful it was until we didn’t have one anymore. Only other real comment is it has way too many attachments. I almost feel like a Navy Seal caring a bag of tools to vacuum your house, but you learn which ones you use and which ones you don’t pretty quick.

This vacuum works really well on all surfaces, from carpet to wood floors.

At first i was hesitant about purchasing a vacuum at such a high price, but my girlfriend eventually convinced me as we had trouble with cheaper vacuums clogging and just not picking up everything we needed it to. We have 4 cats so we had to go for the model that would work best with all the cat hair around and this vacuum is quiet and picks up everything. works great!

If you have pets, this vacuum is a must! The powerful suction and not having to buy filters makes it totally worth the price.

We looked at several Dyson's and all the reviews for each. This one stood out and we are extremely happy with the purchase. The power of this vacuum makes our 8 year old carpets feel like only 1 year old. It was disgusting what we picked up even after vacuuming with our old vacuum first!

Very easy to put together and very powerful vacuum that anyone can work

Our 1st ever Dyson, that we bought 8 years ago, decided to start acting up on us. I had looked at the Cinetic Big Ball Animal AND Allergy and Animal vacuums for a few months, but waited until ours forced our hand into purchasing a new one. It must have been fate. Ours gave out the day a great sale was taking place. We opted to buy the Cinetic Big Ball Animal because of the price and the fact that it hit all of our check points for a vacuum. We live in the country and have a long haired Rottweiler-Australian Shepherd mix dog that lives indoors, so we use our vacuum often. I also suffer from major allergies. The vacuum was super easy to put together. It is a breeze to use and picks up so much dog hair and dirt. It is simply fantastic. We are very pleased.

I am a die hard Dyson owner. There's nothing better! I used my old one for over 10-years and I still have it even though only the hose works now. I bought this new one with the "ball" because that's all I could find to buy new these days. As it is a Dyson and of course, is incredible, I still wish I had my old one. This one is very difficult to vacuum on carpet because it does not have an adjustment to raise the level of vacuuming. I had to buy a different, non-Dyson, for our upstairs carpet. It's almost as though someone who designed this new ball technology never vacuumed a house. The handle feels like it's going to break some day because pushing it around can be stiff and challenging to maneuver around the house easily and you can forget about vacuuming on carpet.This vacuum will get very heavy use. I'm just hoping it last half as long as my old one, but I highly doubt it. Also, you can't beat the customer service that Dyson has to offer. It's the best if anything ever goes wrong. Every company should follow Dyson's lead in customer service.

The Dyson - Cinetic Big Ball Animal + Allergy Bagless Upright Vacuum just keeps picking up dust pass after pass. I noticed My Mom stop coughing from the bust when she comes over to the house. I love my Vacuum LOL

Dyson products are quite pricey, but you really do get what you pay for; they always blow the competition out of the water. This is the third Dyson vacuum I have owned in nearly 15 years, and we have consistently owned two siberian huskies at a time, throughout that period. Translation: lots of fur shedding! The Dysons have always been up to the task. This being the latest and most expensive model released by Dyson (at the time I bought it), I figured it would be the best yet. Not quite. My previous two Dysons were constructed very well and felt very sturdy . . . This one feels a little flimsier, especially at the pivot point in the "ball." It is also a bit cumbersome to lock upright and release into vacuuming mode. Of course, these are the only two things I don't like about it. In all other respects, it is a typical Dyson: great suction, carpet agitation, power cord length, tube/hose length, etc. It is also not nearly as heavy as you might expect, and is pretty easy to transport up and down stairs.
