I bought the Cinetic Big Ball when my Dyson broke and I was being displaced by the pandemic, having to move quickly. This vacuum, while doing normal vacuum suction is good, but that's where it ends. It is clumsy, hard to handle and the attachments are a nightmare. If this was my first Dyson purchase, I'd never buy another Dyson. My Animal Dyson was so far superior and easier to use/handle. The Cinetic cost more but was a HUGE disappointment.

Can't go wrong with a Dyson

It's a Dyson...not much else to know. Best vacuums out ther. 2nd one and my first one still has all the suction. Never had to repair. Just wanted the ball for maneuverability

Each one was still working fine when I gave them away due to moving cross country. When I moved this last time I decided to buy this top of the line unit and that was a mistake. It's horrible. Within 2 months I had to contact Dyson customer service for the first time ever and that was not fun. The head on the unit malfunctioned and it was like pulling teeth to get a replacement sent to me. After I finally received it, it still does not work as good as the original Dyson Animal I had. When you try to use the hose with the accessories, it barely suctions. We have taken it apart and cleaned it and it still does not work properly. For a $700 Dyson product, I expected superior quality, but I am left disappointed. May be time to try a new product line.

Absolute Garbage- Three Warranty Repairs

Our original Dyson was solid and we never had a single issue. The new ones are flimsy and cheaply built in comparison. This vacuum has been to the repair shop three times under warranty since we purchased it 2 years ago. The wiring harness had to be replaced, the beater brush assembly had to be replaced and now the entire motor burned out. Currently ours has been in the shop for three weeks as of 10/2019. The authorized warranty center told us he has 8 of the same models in his center and all of the parts he needs are on backorder. So the bottom line is avoid this vacuum.

I’m happy to inform you that Dyson machines are made from polycarbonate ABS - the same material used in riot shields and crash helmets. They are tough, so we subject them to hours of testing, including drop and impact tests. Dyson machines are built to withstand years of residential household use. Our materials are light yet durable and tested to destruction. Our machines can handle bumps, drops, hits, and jabs. I had a shark that gave out after years of use (we have 4 indoor dogs so it gets a lot of use). Decided to make the investment but honestly it was the worst buy. The handle to use the attachments is so awkward, the vents to the vacuum are on the side so all the dust and hairs fly around instead of getting auctioned up, the huge ball doesn’t let me fit under anything, and the suction is mediocre. Honestly save hundreds and buy a Shark instead.

The Dyson Cinetic is a heavier machine; one thing that you may notice, however, is the brush bar of your machine may help to move the machine along the carpet due to the natural rotation of the brush bar. With regard to any promotional items available for purchase, if purchasing a vacuum from a retailer, such as Best Buy, promotional items offered from the retailer would be honored through them. Instruction book didnot give good instructions. There is one button i have no idea what it does. I like the "clean sensor" on my old vacuum-this does not have that

I am pleased to hear you are satisfied with how well it cleans. I am sorry to hear you are less than satisfied with the canister. The canister features a MAX line. It is important to not allow debris to go over the MAX line to prevent build up along the top. However, in the event that it does build up, the canister can be separated from easier cleaning.

Get a shark

But my shark broke and my husband swore by this brand and this vacuum. No no no . I paid what, almost 700$ and this was the worst vacuum. Good on carpet , was not impressed at all on our wood and tile floors . I returned and spent half the price on a newer top of the line shark and I will never steer away from shark again. I just felt like for 400$, the shark out performed this $700 vacuum with every feature. Return was easy.

It will only vacuum 2 rooms before I have to empty it. I have to put my hand in it and get the hair out too. Not too impressive for such an expensive vacuum.
