I couldn't believe the powerful suction of this vacuum cleaner. Also, it is easy to use and easy to clean.

I mean literally, it is a really powerful vacuum! We recently got a puppy, and we had an older Dirt Devil that was on the way out. We bought this on Black Friday, and it picked up all kinds of shih tzu hair we didn't know existed. And it's quiet, too! The old vacuum scared the jeepers out of our pup, but he didn't go nearly as crazy with this one! :)

This vacuum was easy to assemble out of the box. We have three dogs including a german shepherd who sheds a lot. We were looking for a vacuum that would be easy to use, powerful enough to pick up dog hair and easy to clean. This Dyson Animal and Allergy vacuum works perfectly. Love that I do not have to clean any filters.

Bought this off of a suggestion from a vet technician, and wow! I was blown away. No animal hair stood a chance and the vacuum itself is super powerful. We moved into a clean apartment that was professionally cleaned, stayed there 1 day, vacuumed the next with this bad boy and it was still picking up things the cleaning crew left behind. Best purchase!

Vacuumed whole house after having just done it previously with our Hoover Wind tunnel. Had to empty multitudes because it picked up so much more. Allergies in the house have been better. Only one criticism is that emptying the bagless container needs a better solution as dust gets everywhere. I keep a separate garbage can in the garage for it now.

I was apprehensive at first due to the price, but my boyfriend insisted on this vacuum, and I am glad he did. We used our old vacuum first and then went back over the carpet with the Dyson and I was floored at how much it picked up. If it continues to work like this and lasts at least three years I will be extremely happy.

I was very surprised at how much dirt and carpet fuzz the vacuum picked up the first time I used it...less than 24 hours after using my other Dyson. I’ve used it every day since then and nearly fill the canister each time just in my living room. I have 2 dogs and 2 small children and highly recommend this Dyson.

My last one stopped working, again, after only two years. I saw that the Dyson was on sale for 200$ off so, I decided after years of buying cheap vacuums to go for it. Well worth every penny for this machine. It works wonders. Don't waste money on the cheap vacuum as it will ultimately breakdown well before it should. Dyson for the win.

To be fair, the vacuum is ridiculously strong! I had a sebo which was rated fairly well, but when this vacuumed just after, it was pulling dirt that I wouldn't have expected! The brushes both upright and attachment are awesome! My gripes are: The wand is awkward, when you pull it out, the rigid wand is to long so you can't bend it as if it was an extension of your body, making wand work awkward, even uncomfortable Emptying the canister, like we all knew, canister vs bag...huge trade off of convenience. I'm not buying bags, but if you watch the video, they open and dump. Reality, when you dump it it's in the kitchen garbage and you either one, need to empty it right after you clean the canister or two, do what I do, empty in trash and take two or three wet paper towels and cover the debris and dust so I can put more trash on top of it... But I love the strength of the vacuum in itself and it really agitates the carpet

No more hair blocking in vacuum. Easy to navigate. My only complaint is it is heavy.

My original Dyson animal vacuum broke and I received store credit. I waited patiently to see a sale to purchase the newer model Dyson Animal. This is the best vacuum I have ever purchased. It makes my carpeted areas looked refreshed and OMG it gets up a lot of dirt and particles. I use on my tile and carpeted areas! Love the Dyson quality.

Had been vacuuming with a vacuum that was about 4 years old. Decided to get a dyson. Might as well have not been vacuuming at all before the dyson because when I vacuumed with it, it was very apparent that my old vacuum had not been doing the job. My dyson picked up hidden dirt that I had no clue was there.

My prior vacuum is also a Dyson but had gotten a bit loud over the fifteen years of use, so we bit the bullet and bought this one. The old one will be used in keeping the basement clean. This vac absolutely rocks! Love it. Works flawlessly on my wood, carpet and stone tile floors. Have used extensively around the house from ceiling to floor and am well impressed. Can't think will ever use another brand. Just an example of the quality of these machines...I have two small furry white dogs that are indoors primarily but also spend time outside in the yard and tend to track dirt in. I used the old vac to vacuum the carpet prior to shampooing it. While the carpet was indeed dirty as evidenced in the cleaning solution, there was virtually no sand, grit or fine particulate matter nor an overabundance of dog hair. These are impressive machines - well made, well designed and well worth the money!

I have a dog and two cats this vacuum has the best suction. I was so amazed when I emptied the canister and could not believe how much fine dirt was really in my rug. I was considering replacing my rug but after using this vacuum and seeing the results I can save money and keep my nice rug. I had a hip replacement and the Dyson- Cinetic rolls nicely at all angles. This model also include attachments that make it easy to reach difficult areas. The Dyson-Cinetic will save so much money over time as my previous vacuum bags were quite pricey. Just by registering this product it included a FREE FIVE YEAR WARANTY, PARTS AND LABOR! This is my first upright vacuum. I would recommend this product to my friends and family.

Amazing suction, fairly light, easy to empty collection canister. "Driving" the big ball takes a little getting used to, LOL, but it sure can turn on a dime! Having trouble vacuuming one deep-pile rug--that's how strong the suction is--but I found advice for that on the Dyson website and in a YouTube video.

Well worth the money. Has numerous attachments for many different purposes like ceiling fans. I couldn't believe the fine dirt it picked up that my old vacuum had been leaving behind.

Have owned Dysons for about 12 years now, maybe a little longer. We did try a Shark once, but it didn't live up to the hype. Our old Dyson was finally giving up the ghost and it was time to replace her (DC Animal). I spend a lot of time doing the standard research, read a lot of reviews. Dysons seem to draw a lot of great reviews and the standard sprinkling of "not worth the money". As with most things in life, you get what you pay for. I was unfamiliar with the Cinetic but was immediately intrigued with the concept of no filters to rinse or maintain. So, I rolled the dice. We've had this vacuum for just over a month and it's really been a pleasant surprise, out-performing every vacuum we've had in the past. Performance with this is pretty easy to guage, the amount of "stuff" in the can is an order of magnitude greater than its predecessor. It gets a deeper clean and has a log of suction. It corners well, and cleans edges like a champ. And it's definitely quieter than previous models - noticeably so. I haven't measured the db's but you can definitely tell it's quieter. So, is it worth the $800+ price tag? Well, that's up to you. IMHO, it's the best Dyson yet made. I haven't tried some of the strange attachments like the "under the couch wand" but I'm sure those will work fine too.
