I was pretty excited that I decided to purchase a Dyson vacuum after using many different models prior to this purchase. However, this vacuum is no different then any other one I have purchased. I have 6 little dogs that shed. I still get my fingers/hands dirty trying to get all the fur, etc. out of the bagless technology. It just doesn't fall out. The vacuum is heavy. The extension wand and tube when on and you are using that feature to reach up the wall, the vacuum tips over. I have yet to find the perfect vacuum.

Not nearly as good as past Dyson Animal iterations

I have owned two Dyson vaccums in the past and loved them but this one is horrible. I does not pick up dirt and dog hair like my previous vacuums. It is hard to maneuver, the hose crimps off and does not pick dirt up well at all. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED and will probably never buy another Dyson

I have had two Dyson Animal vacuums and neither one was worth the powder to blow them to smithereens! I live in the country and might have more dirt than if I lived in the city with paved streets etc., but they lied to me when they said they never lose suction. I will never buy a Dyson product as long as I live. My cheap Eureka Vacuum works better than the expensive Dyson.

I've owned this Dyson for 3 years now and it's been difficult to say the least. It has required way too much maintenance and I've even had to replace the cleaner head twice. It doesn't work half the time and I'm constantly having to pull it apart to fix it. It sounds like I bought a banged up, used version but I did not; it was new. I must have gotten a lemon because my previous Dyson vacuum has lasted almost a decade and other reviewers rave about this model, but I wouldn't recommend it. Dyson's customer service in-store and over the phone has been excellent though and they've honored the warranty.

Completely confused to spend all this money on a vacuum cleaner and it literally I have to go over a feather like five times for it to get sucked in.  Every time we back and we have to clean the brush because the hair gets in it. The plastic parts squeak. You can see gow cheap it looks. Who came up with this proce tag? Highly dissatisfied

I purchased this amoung many others never had a problem. I have a piece missing off the top of the canister like the canister cracked I did not drop it. Called dyson they will not cover it. The customer service was rude and dyson warranty has changed. I will never buy another for the price and it just broke after 3 months of using it?

Worked great until it lost suction best buy was great at helping us with the warranty and upgrade ti a cordless

i have had dyson vacuums before. this one with the ball is an improvement over handling. it is a fine product.

Wish it was easier to remove dust tray, attachments are to complicate

This is my second Dyson. I decided to purchase this model because I had recently added a pet to the family. The motor on this unit is definitely strong however the beater bar intake design is the entire problem. Constantly the hose just past the beater bar would become clogged with hair and debris never making it into the waste canister. I would have to literally every two minutes of vacuuming take the beater bar assembly off, clean it out and resume vacuuming. At first I thought maybe my carpets are really dirty and this problem will go away with time. So I vacuumed daily for an entire week, same issue constantly arising. So after a week of vacuuming I decided to get out my old Dyson DC24 (8 years old) expecting it to not pick up anything because I had cleaned the carpet seven times with the Cinetic. Much to my horror the DC24 managed to get a full canister out of each and every room. In short the Cinetic sucked and in a bad way. An 8 year old Dyson should not outperform this vacuum. Even worse, somehow the Cinetic made my entire home dusty. Its as if it brought a bunch of dust to the surface and blew it around. I never managed to get a full canister of debris on this vacuum as the beater bar assembly would constantly be clogged. This is a design issue and perhaps mine is defective but this is absolutely the worse vacuum I have ever purchased. I returned my unit to Best Buy a week after purchase. I am going to try a Dyson canister vacuum next in hopes for better performance.

Its very powerful and easy to maneuver around a tight room. Im very glad i bought this vacuum :)

I wa s expecting to be blown away, but was not. The highly touted suction is no better than my Hoover that I was replacing. The bin design also has the same problem as my old Hoover which is that the dirt and hair and debris all get caught on the hinge when you try to empty it and you have to grab it to remove which is messy. I have also pressed it too far a couple of times and the dirt spills all over the vacuum. Also, the hose design/attachment is not that easy to use. I do like that it is fairly quiet, easy to steer, you don't need to change a filter and has a long cord. I hope it is more durable than my old Hoover otherwise I spent a lot of money for pretty much the same.

No other vacuum like it. One of a kind, worth every penny. You won't be disappointed.

I have 2 cats and a dog. This vacuum works wonders on all the pet hair and dander.

Incredibly dependable and gets in hard-to-reach places very easily.

While im aware its not a shark, I thought it would be better than my 2 year old shark powered lift away..... its not. I did the standard vacuum test, use the old and vacuum with the new to see what the old one left behind. When I tell you the canister was empty after 15 minutes of vacuuming..... Its not worth the premium folks. Shark is the vacuum to get.

Works best as described by Dyson...No complaints or issues
