Easy to handle and use, seems to really do a great job

The first time I used this I cleaned 3 rooms and filled up the container twice with dust and everything else my old vacuum missed. Its kind of light weight but the handle in the middle makes it even easier to carry than most vacuums. Its easy to assemble too.

It is as advertised, great power and easy to use. !

The vacuum itself is amazing! The only thing I'm disappointed on is the attachment that is suppose to pick up pet hair on your couch! It doesn't really get all the hair and I have to use multiple attachments to get it all! But overall I would recommend this vacuum! The suction is amazing and it's not heavy like everyone says it is! It's very light weight and easy to move around.

I've had a shark for two years now.I've Always wondered about the Dyson and the enormous price differences between the two. Like gramps always said 'you get what you pay for'.

Upon getting the Dyson home it was easy to assemble. A few small pieces needed clicked on and we were ready to go. The power was amazing. I began in our sons room where the carpet had already been vacuumed that day. It also looked flat and worn out. The Dyson pulled dust and dirt out of what we had believed was a clean room. It also made the carpet look like it had just been professionally cleaned. It had perked it back up. It gets so close to the wall that you don't really need to use the wand. I also love how it adjusts from carpet to tile with no effort on my part. We are very happy with this purchase and brag about Dyson often. Now I know what the fuss is about!

The costs of a Dyson kept me from buying one years ago but after getting one recently, wish we got one when they first came out! This vacuum picks up a heck of a lot more than what our other vacuum's wouldn't. It is amazing and a lot quieter too!

This vacuum is the best!! I have 9 dogs and this vacuum picks up all the hair and the dirt brought in. When we first bought this and vacuumed by the door the dogs come in at we got a whole container of ground in dirt. it is amazing what our other vacuum for pets missed. love love love it!

I have gone thru quite a few vac's in last 5 years, and this one seems really well built and seems like it will last for many years to come. So far it works AWESOME! It picks up so much dirt (kind of gross seeing how much is in your carpet). I would definitely recommend this vac to anyone with or without pets.

And I mean that in a good way--this vacuum is awesome at getting everything up. I'm vacuuming for fun these days. My only complaint would be that human hair gets wrapped around the bottom just like on normal vacuums--I thought there was supposed to be something that cut it so that it wouldn't get wrapped like that.

This vacuum picks up more dirt and animal hair then other vacuums. Not sure I like that you just push the vacuum down to use. If you try to move the vacuum it just falls. Cord did not get any improvements since the last days in I bought. Tends to bend and twist.

I had heard a variety of opinions about Dyson vacuums, and I was always curious about them. I decided to bite the bullet and just buy one. I am a true believer in them now! The amount of suction generated by the vacuum is unbelievable! I don't think I'll ever own a vacuum that isn't a Dyson again!

I will never buy anything else! I have alot of allergies and pets. I have to say this picks up everything and its easy to use.

This vacuum is the best...talk about getting all the dirt/animal hair up...feels great to walk. Barefoot on a clean carpet...the ability to get it to move in all angles is absolutely a plus...highly recommend this vacuum to anyone!

I have always been intrigued by Dyson Vacuums And bought one a few years ago refurbished and loved it. When this vacuum came out I read about it and thought how could they make them better, but they did. I am so glad that I bought this vacuum. It is amazing and have not had any problems with it at all!

All plastic components that require some mechanical strength (handle, dust collection container) are too flexible and seem underdesigned for the weight and strength required for this device. For example, turning the vac around the floor on a thick carpet can produce a 0.25 inch air gap between the handle and the hose attachment. It might be me being clumsy, but I did managed to trap the power cord in it a few times! Once trapped it wont let go easy because of the handles springy nature! Along the same issue, when emptying the dust canister it has a habit of falling into the trash can. Using a slight wiggle to dislodge trapped dustballs in its housing causes the entire container to flex enough to fall off the cyclone base. In summary, I feel that for that price this device should have been better engineered and tested. Otherwise, its suction strengh is great and probably hard to beat in the industry. The rason why I am still loyal to Dyson is that I am convinced that their next design cycle will have this solved. I am also very impressed by their customer support.

Overall a fantastic vacuum for my apartment, but could be better for the price. First the cons: Cord is not retractable, tedious to disassemble and swap to attachments, feels like cheap plastic would be easy to break, wish hose was longer, not sure how long it will last. And now the pros: Strong suction, easy to empty dustbin, lots of attachments, complimentary attachment storage bag, beautiful aesthetics, maneuvers through the house easily. Overall happy with this purchase.

I owned Couple of Dyson Vacuums (DC33, DC65). Cinetic Big Ball Animal and Allergy is by far a superior one to all of them. Suctioning is amazing. Not only you don't have a bag, but you don't even have to wash filters! I would highly recommend this one. I would say it is a Rolls-Royce of vacuums.

We have a massive Bernese Mountain Dog (well over 130 lbs) who sheds a ton. I had finally given up on my Hoover Wind Tunnel which just wasn't cutting it, in terms of cleaning things up. This vacuum picks up EVERYTHING. The dog hair, dust particles, pet dander. You can immediately see the difference once you use it. Highly recommend it for those with pets that constantly shed (or not). The only real negative are the attachments, The attachments make it awkward to clean certain areas at tough angles but you just have to get a bit creative. The other attachments are great - blind cleaners, door cleaners, etc.
