I wore out my first Dyson (8+ years old)! And in a pinch to get a new vacuum quickly, to get the cleaning done, I bought another name brand; it was a waste of my money. I HAVE MY DYSON BACK and LOVE IT!!

Great product if you take care of it and don’t abuse it. Easy to use but not invincible from dings, drops and abuse. Certain parts could be reinforced, but overalll a solid machine. If you can spare the coin, a great product to invest in.

I would button down the hatches and clear the room of small children and pets. This thing is powerful, I mean really, really powerful. You only think your carpet and floors are clean. I vacuumed with my old vacuum and then went over it with the new Dyson and you would be mortified of how much extra dirt and debris It picks up. It is a very heave and well built vacuum, but the wheels and track ball make it a breeze to use.

Awesome vacuum! I bought a shark product a few months ago and it was already starting to have issues. We have a rough coat collie and she sheds an amazing amount of hair. This Dyson is amazing! Hair still tends to wrap around the beater bar, but less so than other vacuums. It cleans our old carpets really well. I'm just upset I didn't buy it sooner!

great suction power, only small draw back is canister size.

I can't believe how wonderful this vacuum cleaner is. I'm so impress of the suction and no matter how full it is, the power is still there. It's able to suction up every little details of dirt which my other Hoover vacuum couldn't do. It's worth the price!!!

Does a great job on carpet and floors has strong suction power. The only issue I have is when you use the attachment hose it sometimes gets crunched and loose suction, then you have to pull it up again.

This vacuum is as an awesome vacuum. I have owned previous Dysons and have never been disappointed!! Love that this one comes with no filter to clean. It makes even old carpet stand up like it was new carpet. I Love my Dyson vacuum.

This machine is a miracle worker. I have two cotton bean bags (one for each of my cats). Once a year I pull out my heavy duty shop vac to try and battle it out with the cat hair. It takes about an hour and the results are less than perfect. I put my Dyson to the test with these bean bags. The no-tangle head was perfect for the job. I can now get 99.9 % of the cat hair off the bean bags in about five minutes a piece. Plus, I love that there are no filters to clean or bags to replace. I love to pull out the Dyson for everything. I actually make excuses so I can vacuum.

The corded one is doing an excellent job!. I wish cordless lasted this long with the superior suction

This was a great purchase! I vacuumed a clean area of my carpet and OMG the amount of lint and dirt that came out was amazing. Definitely equivalent to a Kirby if not better because of the price!! $$

Just read and researched a lot, but I must say that was not of much help as you always have conflicting opinions. So you will find a lot of people praising and a lot against the product. We have lots of dogs that shed very fine hair. No matter how much you clean, you can never clear them off. So we took a leap on our gut feeling and bought the Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Animal and allergy. It was twice the price of the other brands but price is not the end we start with. It came with a lot of attachments which do help cleaning. Suction is really great and dies great job with hair. Giving 4 stars because the plastic is but flimsy and doesnot give a rugged feel. Will see how it does in the long run.

Well worth the purchase!!! The best vacuum I've ever owned in my lifetime. Deeply cleans and removes dirt from within the carpet. First use shows how much dirt was left behind by the other vacuum that I had been using previously. Just simply amazing!!!

Everything on this vacuum cleaner is thought out and works great! It's nice to have something that you know will do a great job for a long time. I love all of the attachments, and the fact that I can turn off the brush to use it on wood flooring.

This vacuum cleaner is expensive but I assure you that it is worth every penny. Works wonders around the house! From the ceiling to the floors and everywhere in between, just amazing all around. I would recommend this vacuum to everybody, I love it!

I love my Dyson Big Ball Animal Vacuum! It is fantastic, I could not believe my eyes to see all the dog hair this has picked up! I recommend this to anyone who owns a dog or cat that sheds!

have had a number of Dyson Vacuums over the years, both upright and handheld. Although a little pricey, it does exactly what it says it does. This is by far the most powerful vacuum we have owned. We have a new dog that sheds all over the house. Thought the previous Vacuum was good, but this picks up so much more and leaves floors and carpets looking like new.

First time Dyson purchase and very happy with it. We have a Yorkie that sheds a lot. We had been using a vacumn that was made to pick up dog hair and we thought it had been doing a good job! Boy we were wrong! I had just used the old vacumn a couple of days before, when we came home and used the Dyson we had to empty the bin twice! We put the old vacumn out with the trash right away!! Would have loved to have had better service when trying to buy the vacumn but that's a review for another time! Will buy Dyson products only for our home from now on!!!

This unit exceeded my expectations by quite a margin. I had previously used several brands around the 200 dollar mark, always thinking I was getting a good unit but they do not compare. The modular nature of this vacuum is also a great selling point that I don't think gets enough coverage. The unit breaks down into several pieces to extract clogs if/when you have them. The unit picked up so much more dirt and debris than the other units I have used it was almost embarrassing.
