When we tried the vacuum cleaner in the store my wife initially felt the unit was hard to steer. However we decided to buy it anyway and she got used to it quickly. It was amazing how much dirt it picked up on the first use that our old unit wasn't getting. It was relatively easy to assemble although the instructions could be better for how to assemble the extra parts for the attachments. By looking at the pictures on the box, you can see how these need to be installed.

I have wanted a Dyson for about 7 years! Really ever since I used a friends I just knew I had to have one. So glad I waited until I could buy the best of the best! This vacuum plus all of the attachments are amazing!

My 2nd Dyson, and this one is better than the prior one. More power, better accessories,and gets the deep dirt and pet hair that was left by my other vacuum. The fact it was on sale was even better.

I never thought I would spend this mych on a vacuum, but it is worth it! I love my Dyson. Between the cat and my allergies, there is alot floating around. I love the tools, so many uses. Awesome vacuum! WORTH EVERY PENNY!

Purchased as a replacement for our Dyson Animal DC14 which is almost 17 years old! This vacuum has great suction and is easy to maneuver (after you get the hang of it). It is a little heavier than expected, but would definitely recommend it. Looking forward to having to wash the filters as there are none.

Waited 6 years to be able to stomach the price of one of these. Our Kenmore elite finally died and with the new scraped tile we put throughout the house with no carpet it was time to look at something new. I read through tons of reviews on here on multiple models and really wanted something that would work on these floors. I looked at ease of use, functionability, trends on issues, price, and most of all repairs. I wanted something that had an adjustable head, with great suction, and tool attachments for around the house and cars. The vacuum went on sale and decided to take the plunge. I have to say I am very pleased with the purchase. With two big dogs and a lot of hair gathering in those special spots in the house, this vacuum has been awesome. The adjustable head has a wide coverage area and has no problem picking up the hair, dirt, dust on the tiled floor. The suction is very good and does maintain throughout use of the vacuum head or while using the hose and attachments. The attachments that come with this vacuum are spot on with what they are designed for. Dyson even throws in a bag that is great for storing all of them! Not a big deal but this vacuum package has a lot of attachments that are included. The raising and lowering of the vacuum from standing to use does make you think it will break each time but haven't had issues as of yet. While using the hose and stretching out the nice distance it offers hasn't been an issue with it falling over. The cylinder/allergy filter is great and while I have long haired dogs I actually did have to reach in there to pull some hair out, no biggie I just washed my hands. The cord has great distance to minimize moving the plug around. My wife was the biggest skeptic with purchasing this but after using the vacuum she is sold on it and loves everything about it. Overall, great vacuum so far and we are very pleased with the purchase.

We have a high pile carpet in the house we just moved into. It had been professionally cleaned before moving in and this vacuum still managed to find dirt the day after it was professionally cleaned. I'm very impressed with its performance on all floor surfaces, including an old wool carpet in two sections of the house and wood floors. It exceeded my expectations and the ball is much easier to push around than the traditional vacuum.

I bought a Dyson 10 years ago and have loved the way it is so easy to handle and clean. This year I purchased a new Dyson for my own daughter so cleaning will become a joy instead of a chore.

I was a little skeptical after hearing mixed reviews about Dysons but I have no complaints. It is one the pricier side but you get what you pay for. Suction is never an issue which was the main concern. The only things to pay mind to are emptying the canister, which can require some manual effort, and the fact that it's bagless...smells can build up so you do need to break down and clean occasionally despite what Dyson says.

This vacuum is the best thing I've ever owned! The suction is incomparable! We have a short haired dog that sheds 24/7 and this vacuum picks up so much even after our shark foes over it!

I am always amazed how well a Dyson cleans this is my second Dyson my first was kidnapped by my son when he moved to his own place. This new Dyson is even better than my first. Everything about it has exceeded my expectation and my expectations were very high. With all the attachments and easy moving . My kitty fur problem is over thanks to my new Dyson. Very happy highly recommend

We are very pleased with our new Dyson vacuum cleaner. We have a Labrador retriever that sheds profusely and this vacuum has amazing suction to get it all up.

Love, love, love! I love my Dyson! It works so well!! Between the dirt my husband brings in the house on his boots and the German Shepherd's dog hair, this machine works wonders! I love it!!

The vacuum works great. We have 2 large dogs (the small dog is 100 lbs and large dog is 170 lbs with long hair) and this vacuum does a great job picking up all of their hair. We use the vacuum on tile floors, short carpet, and a thick rug. The suction is so high that my wife has some difficulty pushing the vacuum on thick rug. It comes with every attachment you could possibly want.

I have one of those dogs that has an exploding coat, and we have a severe asthmatic in the house. Needless to say, I need attachments and a vacuum that really work to quickly pick up hair on every surface, and pull dust. Thank you Dyson! The vacuum head on this works much better than my Hoover model, and I've never seen so little powder escape a vacuum before. Outstanding performance. FYI, if you can, empty into a can outside, or you will get a lot of dust in the house.

We recently purchased this vacuum and it was worth the price. The dyson picks up so much debris and dust that others don't. This was a great investment thus far and we are looking forward to many years of usage.
