I love my dyson it is really easy to operate and I tried vacumming my living room with my old upright cleaner and then went over what I had just done with the dyson and ohhhh my gosh I couldn't believe the amount of dirt it picked up in the same place I had just done.

I've owned 2 other Dyson vacuums in the last 18 years and have always been very happy with the Dyson line and their improvements from model to model. However the Cinetic Big Ball has exceeded all of my expectations. It lifts dirt and pet hair in one pass that I normally had to use several passes to get before. The only draw back is still the dumping feature of the bagless canister. With just dust and dirt it dumps just fine, but with pet hair I still have to pull it out a clump at a time.

Nothing is perfect, hence 4 stars but this vacuum is a necessity for anyone with animals! I think you get what you pay for.

It is an upgrade from my old dyson. It moves great and picks up the cat hair without any problem.

This has great suction works great and has a sleek look really does good picking up dog hair.

LOVE the new Dyson. We need it because we have 4 cats and it works perfectly. Highly recommend.

Does an excellent job of cleaning. I really like that there are no filters to clean or replace.

its an excellent vacuum for cleaning and removing dirt, the only downside is the weight. Its hard to move in tight spaces like stairways. It helps with my asthma and my flares are null now that we own this vacuum.

I have a Boston Terrier and this vacuum is perfect for keeping the house clean.

I purchased this vacuum to replaced the thirteen year old Dyson DC17 that finally broke and I could no longer get replacement parts for it. After considerable use I can assure you that this vacuum will impress with it's capabilities. We have three dogs and two cats so pet hair is an issue. This vacuum easily outperformed the DC17 in the pet department picking up pet hair I didn't even know existed. Compared to the DC17 this vacuum is very quiet in use. About half the noise compared to my old vacuum. The collection bin is considerably smaller compared to my old Dyson and requires more frequent emptying but that isn't a big deal. This vacuum comes with a nice assortment of tools but what it doesn't include is the $50 hard surface floor tool. Our home is mostly hardwood and tile downstairs with the exception of the master bedroom so the floor tool was a must. Dyson should include this considering the cost of the vacuum! The other issue is that it is an outright lie to advertise this vacuum as "no filter maintenance" required. Not true! The vacuum has HEPA filters that will need to be replaced about once a year to keep the performance of the vacuum like new. Instead it should be advertised as no pre-filter maintenance required. Overall I would recommend this vacuum. The price is steep but in the end you do get what you pay for in performance. As I said, don't advertise as no filter maintenance when you have to replace filters and for the price Dyson needs to step up and include the hard surface floor tool instead of making it an accessory!

This vacuum is really easy to operate and removes so much you will be stunned!

Other than being on the heavy side, this vacuum is great. Really picks up what others don't.

I vacuum at least twice a week. My daughter and I have very long hair plus we foster care for kittens. I would constantly blow up my other vacuum cleaners because her hair would get tangled. I decided to stop buying 2 to 3 vacuums a year and invest the money in one good one, and boy was it a great plan! The first time I vacuumed my house, I had to empty the canister in each room. That is pretty gross! I had that much junk in my carpets!. You can tell it has a very strong suction. Sometimes I felt like I was ripping the carpet up. But it is a great feeling knowing that I'm getting very deep into the rug and cleaning out all of the stuff that may be in it. It's a sticker shock, but well worth it

Love the Dyson line of quality products, this is only my second one in over 17 years with two golden retrievers in the house that shed like crazy!! We were vacuuming everyday.

We upgraded from the Dyson ball upright (yellow) and this works much better.
