The Dyson name speaks for itself. This vacuum came with a 5 year guarantee. The quality is far superior to other immataters. Why spend $200 - $300 every six months when you can break down and spend cash on a quality vacuum. We have multiple short haired animals (one of which is snow white) and a dark brown coach. The rotary pet hair tool for furniture is amazing!!!!!!!!!!

I can not believe how well it cleans and how easy it is to care for. I love it and don't dread the vacuuming any longer. I want to see if it ever gets everything out.

We have 2 dogs that shed and we got this vacuum for their hair. It picks up a lot of hair and dirt, but it is kind of a beast to lug around the house. There are a number of great attachments. The reach on the wand is great, but it can be kind of cumbersome if you have a tight space to clean.

Had heard the Dyson was a good vacuum. Correction it is a GREAT vacuum. Light weight to move around. Great suction. Easy to clean out bagless feature. Lots of useful attachments. Expensive, but worth the extra cost.

The vacuum is powerful we enjoy the suction and power to pick up dust.

Great product, does a great job on the carpets. A little heavier than I expected, but worth the effort. Maybe it will help build more muscles in my arms.

This is my 2nd Dyson that I have owned. My first was the small animal (now 5ish years old I think). That served me well but we moved to a larger house and after a few years here I was sick of the short power cord and small canister capacity. This new vacuum is great though. Easy to assemble and the cord is long enough to serve our house with only unplugging twice (split level 2600 sq ft.). Vacuuming rugs is a little tricky since it has such good suction though. I've found the best way to do it is by having the foot slightly off the rug to remove a complete seal. Other reviewers mentioned the operation of putting it back to upright and I'd agree. It doesn't lock convincingly but I only had trouble the first time using it. Now I have zero issues.

I love my new vacuum. It really sucks! (Pun intended) This is the best vacuum I've ever used. It is so easy to use and it's self adjusting so you don't have to keep bending over to adjust the height. Just get after it!

I picked this up on cyber monday 2017. Assembly was quick and pretty simple. I feel like it works better than my old Dyson animal and it's quite a bit more quiet during operation. Some of the attachments seem kind of gimmicky and there seem to be a LOT of little plastic clips and tabs at various connection points that are just begging to snap off rendering the entire part useless. We'll see. Optimistic for now, haha...

Great vacuum, easy to use and clean! The vacuum seems heavy, however, it is very light and easy to maneuvre.

This vacuum picks up pet hair and is easy to use. Dumping out the dirt is quick and clean. The attachments come in a lovely bag and are easy to haul around the house while cleaning. I wish I had this years ago!
