We have 6 dogs and one is a large Husky. This vacuum does the best job so far. All vacuums on the market really are not good due to everything being made of plastic. Hoses break and clips break. I really don't think there is a good product out there. Nothing is made to last 20 years anymore. Expect to buy a new one every 4-5 years.

The Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Animal Bagless Upright Vacuum is a great powerful vacuum that does have excellent suction and an easy to dump canister. The vaccuum is slightly harder to push than some of its competitors due to its weight, however thats the trade off for great suction!

Great suction, pulls the carpet right up off the floor and cleans well. Small canister, debris gets stuck in canister and needs to pulled out by hand most of the time. Kickstand takes time to get used to, feels like it might break. Everything else is good.

I love my new Dyson! It cleas my carpet so well, with ease!

I purchased this vacuum on Black Friday, and being a 29 year old guy buying a vacuum on BF sounded terrible at the time. After a few months though I can honestly say it's of the best purchases I have ever made. It is SCARY what this vacuum pulls up. You think you have a clean house, and then this thing just proves you dead wrong. I bring it over my parent's who have two dogs and two cats, and it literally brightens the carpets when I'm done. This is after they vacuum using their old canister vacuum. Bottom line, this is vacuum is worth the money. My only knock on it is it is made almost entirely of plastic, so there's a chance something could break. Definitely get the warrant on this thing.

Upgraded from a smaller Dyson from 7 yrs ago. Our house has less dust and allergens in it since starting to use this Dyson. All the attachments are very useful and easy to use. Great vacuum for a clean house.

The "no filters" is a blessing because even following instructions for washing them, they still got a horrible odor and wouldn't go away. No filters means less time when doing maintenance to it and also smells cleaner. It's significantly heavier though. I got a sore shoulder the first couple of times I used it. Still Dyson Animal for ever. :)

I have a few Dyson vacuums and they are all great. This one is very powerful and is able to adapt easily to do the stairs. It has very strong suction and is very easy to empty as well

Very satisfied! Had my last Dyson ball upright for 16 years. (It still works.) Also have handheld Dyson. Finally, decided to treat myself to the allergy machine and I'm happy I did. This has all the attachments one could want. Plus, attachments I bought for my old machine fit, too. I like to vacuum soft surfaces in the house (couch, mattress) that can collect dust and mites; this is perfect for that! You can see everything that comes out!

LOVE Dyson products. This is my 2nd Animal (my first was 13 years old before I replaced it). A little heavy, but not compared to a Kirby! BETTER by far than any Shark or Oreck I've tried.

I was amazed by how well this vacuum cleans. Took a bit to get used to the movement of your wrist to control the vacuum,but with the ball it's much easier to use in tight areas. Nothing like a traditional vacuum

While buying this product I was worried if it will work on wooden floors and it works well. It self-adjusts for wood and carpet and thats really comfortable. Overall had no issues until now (3 months). We see lot of fine dust in the bin which is scary but also good.

My other Dyson Animal is 12 years old and still an Animal! I got a second one to have one upstairs one down, no more lugging up/down between floors. This one has the ball which I love - very easy to maneuver. Like my old Dyson it self-propels which makes it easy to use even though it is light. And the suction is still amazing - the color of the carpet actually changes as I vacuum. I used to buy a new vacuum every 2 years but the Dyson I consider an investment. It pays for itself. All the necessary attachments came with this model, but the attachments are not interchangeable with the old model. Still, I am very happy and this can handle the pet hair. Better than my old model, this one does not collect hair on the brush.

The suction of this vacuum cleaner is so amazing!!! I love the way it goes around corners. You get a lot of attachments to do all the work throughout your home and car.

I loved our basic floor Dyson we got several years ago but it was time to upgrade. I loved the idea of the animal because we have a long haired dog to clean up after. The vacuum works great but my only real complaint is that the vacuum is VERY hard to steer. You have to try and re-teach yourself. This was my only reason to skip the last star.
