My very FIRST Dyson Vacuum. I just received it and took it for a spin. I am in LOVE. In the past it was Bissell for me. But after a family member purchased their first Dyson and spoke so highly of it. I thought that I would give it a try. But not until the price was right and it finally was. I am so HAPPY that I made the switch. I’ll update with my personal experience. After I’ve had more time to play around with it.

I was an avid Kirby user for years, well no more. Awesome vacuum. This model comes with so many extra tools and a tool bag. And no filters to rinse! Love it!

I own the original Dyson (yellow) vacuum. I also own the cordless animal vac that I use on wood floors for quick cleanup. The upright animal vacuum pulled up dog hair from deep pile carpeting and made it look brand new. I have my home professionally cleaned weekly and have asked the service to use my new vacuum instead of their commercial vacuum. I vacuumed with my Dyson animal vacuum after they left and filled the canister. Definitely a difference in suction and cleaning power, compared to their vacuum.

This is our 3rd Dyson Vacuum! Yes they are more expensive than the other brands but we think they are well worth it. The best thing that we can say about it is that it sucks but that is really a good thing. I remember that we had vacuum with our Hoover & we thought the carpet was clean - then we went over the same area with the Dyson and wow - it pick up dirt that the Hoover did not. I am telling you - my wife loves the Dyson Vacuum.

I bought this vacuum with intentions on looking at a different brand. My son and I have really bad allergies and with the dogs and cat running around with all the pet dander doesn't help either one of us. I was skeptical on buying this machine because my whole house has tile floor and from the reviews that I read not that great on them, well I can say IMO they are wrong. This machine gets in all the cracks of the grout and different levels of the floors can go from doing the floors to the rugs by the doors with no problems never loosing suction. Awesome machine very powerful and lots of suction. Worth it IMO

After our previous model had to be traded in due to a mechanical problem, we upgraded to this newer model and absolutely love it! The new model doesn't have any filters like the previous model, and is a much needed improvement.

I was used to a European Miele vacuum cleaner which is not one of these standing models. I thought now that we have moved to the US we would try out this one. I bought this one for the suction and brand name. Now that I have used it I must say that I do like the qualitative feel but that I do not find it very practical. It is much heavier to use than my previous vacuum where you only had to move the head around and the engine etc remained in place. You cannot reach beneath the bed. It has at least 6-8 different where except for two of them I wonder what they are. If I had the option I would change for a different model - although I would choose a Dyson again.

We have 6 dogs and one is a large Husky. This vacuum does the best job so far. All vacuums on the market really are not good due to everything being made of plastic. Hoses break and clips break. I really don't think there is a good product out there. Nothing is made to last 20 years anymore. Expect to buy a new one every 4-5 years.

i was hesitant on buying a rather expensive vacuum, however, I don't regret it one bit. I had originally purchased the canister kinetic but came back for this one and I couldn't be happier. The pet grooming tool is great for my German shepherds and the turbine tool is phenomenal on the carpet.

Great onboard attachments. Strong suction that makes carpet look new! Very effective on tile as well.

We are really impressed with this vacuum could not believe how much cleaner the carpet is and what it pulled out so much better then our old one. Worth the money !

Great vacuum. Picks up everything you can imagine! Powerful!

Powerful. Includes useful attachments, especially for cleaning blinds. Pricey but got on sale. Wish cord could be auto rewind.

This vacuum has a lot of suction and cleans rugs very well, dog and cat hair too. The only problem is it’s heavy to push around and the big ball prohibits getting under furniture.

This vacuum is pretty awesome, does everything i need and then some.

This vacuum is amazing!! It picks up more than I ever expected from carpet. Works great on wood or tile also. It is a heavier unit but would buy another Dyson

Love this vacuum. Powerful and leaves my carpet and floors super clean and dust-free. Removes allergens due to powerful suction.
