Did research on this vac. All positive. Now I can add my high grades. Lightweight. Easy to maneuver. Easy clean. Gets up a lot of dirt and hair Well worth the expense!

Dyson has out done theirselves with this machine. It has a larger pickup brush than our 10 year old dyson. It is also so much quieter than the previous model we had. We can not get over the tiny participles the new design picks up.

The suction of this vacuum is incredible though there really should be some type of height adjustment. On a large area rug I was unable to even vacuum it (even when turning off roller) as it just pushed the rug. Also vacuum is incredibly heavy. I would honestly return the vacuum for a lighter model if that were an option since I have an older model dyson and I absolutely love that one (pieces are beginning to break on older model)

This is my second upright Dyson. The first one I bought lasted 15 years before the hose cracked. I decided to purchase this as a replacement and it is amazing. The only issue I have with it is that when you tilt the vaccuum back, it makes a really loud cracking noise that I'm told is normal. Maybe I'll get used to it, but it sounds like I'm breaking it and I wince every time.

You can never be wrong purchasing one. The suction mechanism is Awesome!!!

I own the original Dyson (yellow) vacuum. I also own the cordless animal vac that I use on wood floors for quick cleanup. The upright animal vacuum pulled up dog hair from deep pile carpeting and made it look brand new. I have my home professionally cleaned weekly and have asked the service to use my new vacuum instead of their commercial vacuum. I vacuumed with my Dyson animal vacuum after they left and filled the canister. Definitely a difference in suction and cleaning power, compared to their vacuum.

This is the newest and in my opinion the best vacuum on the market right now. All Dyson products are great but this one is absolutely the best. It is the top of the line Dyson so unfortunately, it is the most expensive but worth it!

I was an avid Kirby user for years, well no more. Awesome vacuum. This model comes with so many extra tools and a tool bag. And no filters to rinse! Love it!

I bought this vacuum with intentions on looking at a different brand. My son and I have really bad allergies and with the dogs and cat running around with all the pet dander doesn't help either one of us. I was skeptical on buying this machine because my whole house has tile floor and from the reviews that I read not that great on them, well I can say IMO they are wrong. This machine gets in all the cracks of the grout and different levels of the floors can go from doing the floors to the rugs by the doors with no problems never loosing suction. Awesome machine very powerful and lots of suction. Worth it IMO

this thing sucked the soul out of my carpet. i had a shark vacuum that would appear "clean" after cleaning my carpet and then we turned this on for fun to test it and... holy.. picked up more dirt in one pass than 6 with my shark. this vacuum could suck souls back from the depths of hell and possibly imprison the titans of old. its a little pricey but you wont regret it. highly recommend

We are really impressed with this vacuum could not believe how much cleaner the carpet is and what it pulled out so much better then our old one. Worth the money !

After our previous model had to be traded in due to a mechanical problem, we upgraded to this newer model and absolutely love it! The new model doesn't have any filters like the previous model, and is a much needed improvement.

I was used to a European Miele vacuum cleaner which is not one of these standing models. I thought now that we have moved to the US we would try out this one. I bought this one for the suction and brand name. Now that I have used it I must say that I do like the qualitative feel but that I do not find it very practical. It is much heavier to use than my previous vacuum where you only had to move the head around and the engine etc remained in place. You cannot reach beneath the bed. It has at least 6-8 different where except for two of them I wonder what they are. If I had the option I would change for a different model - although I would choose a Dyson again.

This vacuum has a lot of suction and cleans rugs very well, dog and cat hair too. The only problem is it’s heavy to push around and the big ball prohibits getting under furniture.

i was hesitant on buying a rather expensive vacuum, however, I don't regret it one bit. I had originally purchased the canister kinetic but came back for this one and I couldn't be happier. The pet grooming tool is great for my German shepherds and the turbine tool is phenomenal on the carpet.
