I love it! glides like butter. I read some reviews about recent Dysons being hard to move across thick carpet. But that is not at all the case with this machine. I used in on several naps of carpet and hardwood floors too. It's all incredibly easy to use. If Dyson is reading this I only have 1 suggestion: Include a sheet explaining what each tool was intended for or at least name each one. My wife felt that would have been beneficial. You will also find a weird little snap-on holder designed to hold 2 tools onboard. Its not mentioned in the manual, but I found a review that happen to show what it is and how to install it. But overall I have no complaints and I'm so glad I went for the big-gun. Our last vacuum was Dyson and it was awesome for 17 years!! This year we decided its time to replace it even though it still "works" its not working as well as it used and the old one is no where near the performance of this new "Cinetic Big-Ball Animal". I would buy it again without hesitation.

I OWN SEVERAL DYSONS OF ALL SIZES. FOR PETS, THIS IS THE ANSWER. I RECENTLY PURCHASED ANOTHER BRAND, BECAUSE THE COST WAS LOW. WHAT A MISTAKE. THEY MAY SAY THEY ARE BETTER OR EVEN AS GOOD AS DYSON, BUT I HAVE NOT FOUND ONE YET.

The only complaint I have is: you can see the cord will be awful and kink. It's stiff. I've had a Dyson DC 28 and a 25 from 2010 and the DC 28 had same cord. Didn't matter if you kept it stored wrapped around the vacuum as suggested. The cord kinked so bad, it had holes in covering exposing wires. This cord is the same.

I had a Bissell Bagless pet vacuum for several years, I recently got the Dyson pet. There is a visible difference, also, I can get on the floor and play with my children without having itchy eyes or sneezing from the dander and dust left in the carpet.

The Dyson Animal-Allergy Big Ball vacuum is the best! The best suction of any vacuum and the best warranty ever! 10 out of 10 stars!! You'll look at the dustbin after vacuuming and say "No Way! Our carpet was not that dirty!!", as this vacuum fills up fast! The best suction ever!! Best Buy beat every other price that we looked at.

No filters is awesome. We havent had it long enough to really say it is a better vacuum, but even if it is the same quality as the animal vacuum I would be satisfied. I am just very happy there are no more filters to clog up.

This vacuum really seems to work well with lots of suction. Hose seems to have enough suction but wish it was a little more. Kind of heavy so if you are taking it up and down stairs .

Got this on sale, still expensive though. It vacuums well, lots of suction and a horde of attachments. Impressed with the edge cleaning. It's very good, but it's not perfect (5 stars)

I LOVE the suction of this vacuum. It makes my carpets look amazing and I have a 200lb Saint Bernard who sheds like crazy! In the suction department - this vacuum is hands-down the BEST... BUT There are some things I hate about this vacuum that I feel should be addressed, since it is a nearly $600 piece of equipment... 1. The hose is terribly designed. Using it to get under things (or over things - fan blades) is a pain because of the 3-foot part that is not flexible- you have to be so far away from the upright part in order to prevent the hose from kinking. I'm scared it's going to bust open one of these times. It just doesn't make sense to me why it was designed that way... 2. It squeaks like crazy. I think it's the ball, but I can't really tell exactly WHAT is causing the squeaking. It's done it since the first time I used it. Very annoying. 3. The tank - every time I empty the tank, it's such a messy hassle. By just pushing the button to open the door to the tank, stuff stays lodged in there (and no, I'm not filling it more than the max line) - most times I have to completely take the outer tank off to get everything out.... which just doesn't make much sense. For a vacuum of this cost, I just think it could have been designed more practically and efficiently. It takes me twice the amount of time to vacuum with this thing because of these design flaws. *BUT I'm ok with it because my carpet looks great! (Even though I'm kind of cranky I spent so much on a vacuum that has so many design issues.... I'd still recommend Dyson for the suction alone, but I'd stick with the cheaper model and hope in years to come they fix these things and make them WORTH the money you spend.)

Love the product. It does the job. If you have a thicker carpet it a bit hard to use over, but on regular carpet and hard wood floors is does a super job. Had a dysentery before and was impressed with its cleaning. I good test is to use your old vac and then used the Dyson and seen how much more dusk and dirt you pick up.

I purchased this vacuum not even 2 years ago and have already had to call for a warranty. This thing overheats and when attempting to change the filter on the ball… not easy and the cost for new filters is not worth it. It’s almost 70 dollars for two new filters. I understand that clean filters are necessary but why are they so expensive? You can’t wash them like the old dysons because these are enclosed in plastic and would never dry.I have an old upright dyson that never gave me trouble like this one. So although this vacuum had great suction —-It gets so hot when I vaccum that I seriously worry that it is going to start a fire. I have to shut it down repeatedly and let it cool off. I contacted dyson today and I will say their customer service rep was great. I am now waiting for my shipping info to send Vaccum in for warranty work. It is a terrible inconvenience and now I am without a vacuum after purchasing what I thought would be the best. To make matters worse it has to be shipped and can not be repaired locally or so I was told. So disappointed ☹️ I would not purchase this vacuum again.

I purchased this vacuum and thought I loved it, until it stopped working. The roller wouldn't turn anymore. I took iy back to Best Buy and they couldn't fix it so I got a new one. I have used it for a few months and the same thing happened again. I will be returning it and not purchasing this same vacuum again. The service at Best Buy is great but this particular vacuum just doesn't work for me.

I had a Dyson for a year and stopped working, had warranty so was able to just go get another one. But of course mine was no longer available new model came out so had to upgrade a little

The suction of this vacuum is absolutely amazing and the lack of filter changing makes it a real winner. My one star beef is that it's heavier and less nimble than previous ball animals.

Best vaccuum I've ever owned. Haven't found one thing I don't like about it yet. Cleans well, easy to use, lightweight, lots of attachments.

This vacuum sucks up a lot of dirt. But, when I stand it up and try to wheel it to another area it always comes out of position causing the floor piece to crash onto the floor. It’s also a lot heavier than I thought. My 85 yo mother has difficulty using, wish it wasn’t too late to exchange for the Dyson stick vacuum.
