Love the product. It does the job. If you have a thicker carpet it a bit hard to use over, but on regular carpet and hard wood floors is does a super job. Had a dysentery before and was impressed with its cleaning. I good test is to use your old vac and then used the Dyson and seen how much more dusk and dirt you pick up.

This vaccum is so strong your carpet gets warm. Very easy to use and all accessories help you clean the house quickly and stress free

This is our 3rd Dyson vacuum and this one is as great as the others. Excellent suction and easy to use. A big expensive but worth it

Easy handling and very efficient on rugs and hardwood.

I purchased this vacuum not even 2 years ago and have already had to call for a warranty. This thing overheats and when attempting to change the filter on the ball… not easy and the cost for new filters is not worth it. It’s almost 70 dollars for two new filters. I understand that clean filters are necessary but why are they so expensive? You can’t wash them like the old dysons because these are enclosed in plastic and would never dry.I have an old upright dyson that never gave me trouble like this one. So although this vacuum had great suction —-It gets so hot when I vaccum that I seriously worry that it is going to start a fire. I have to shut it down repeatedly and let it cool off. I contacted dyson today and I will say their customer service rep was great. I am now waiting for my shipping info to send Vaccum in for warranty work. It is a terrible inconvenience and now I am without a vacuum after purchasing what I thought would be the best. To make matters worse it has to be shipped and can not be repaired locally or so I was told. So disappointed ☹️ I would not purchase this vacuum again.

I purchased my original Dyson animal over 15 years ago and it was and is still a great machine, but after all these years of use it just did not clean as well. I purchased this new animal expecting the same quality product. I was very disappointed. It cleaned the floor great but the first time I emptied the canister it fell off after I lightly tapped it to get the residual dirt and dog hair out, never had that problem out of my old one. There is no solid locking mechanism for this one unlike my old one just a cheap plastic clip. The cord holder was flimsy as well can easily bend it and compared to my old one was just overall flimsy. Keeping it upright seems to be a challenge keeps wanting to not lock in. All the parts are thinner plastic and the cleaning head leaves a line in the carpet where it did not clean so you have to go over it again. I know a lot of companies try to cut costs, maximize their profits which is fine but I do not mind paying extra for a quality product and this machine was not cheap. I am very disappointed in my purchase and in dyson for making it a flimsy shadow of the one I have. I will take and have my old one refurbished and will be very surprised if I get the even a quarter of the use out of this unit.

I loved my first Dyson, while I got years ago, it was a super trooper and cleaned like a new machine until it died, well was ravished, after a "not so pretty move" across the country. This machine is a wonderful replacement. I did have an issue when I first opened the box, damaged parts, during manufacturing perhaps - regardless, one call to Dyson and they shipped it out next day. I look forward to years with this vacuum, and would recommend Dyson, especially this particular unit, to anyone with dogs and allergies.

This vacuum sucks up a lot of dirt. But, when I stand it up and try to wheel it to another area it always comes out of position causing the floor piece to crash onto the floor. It’s also a lot heavier than I thought. My 85 yo mother has difficulty using, wish it wasn’t too late to exchange for the Dyson stick vacuum.

It’s works just as well as our last Dyson. Happy we don’t have to worry about changing filters. Pleasantly surprised about the amount of accessories that came with the vacuum. It will make vacuuming the whole house much easier. And it’s about the same weight as our previous Dyson. So I can take it up and down stairs easily.

The vacuum works great as a Dyson should. Takes a bit of getting used to with the kinetic ball as the turning point. The only drawback is no accessory storage on the vacuum itself. This is the reason for the 4 star rating instead of 5 stars.

Excellent suction and great deep cleaning machine. Because of design it does not slide under furniture as well as other models.

I purchased this vacuum and thought I loved it, until it stopped working. The roller wouldn't turn anymore. I took iy back to Best Buy and they couldn't fix it so I got a new one. I have used it for a few months and the same thing happened again. I will be returning it and not purchasing this same vacuum again. The service at Best Buy is great but this particular vacuum just doesn't work for me.

I only have one complaint....the attachments that are not in use, fall off of it all time while Im vacuuming. We just took them off and stored them separately. Love the bagless dump-out on the canister. I have 2 dogs and 5 kids.....this is a good vacuum for an active home.

My original Dyson animal vacuum, was Losing suction. It had been fixed several times locally. It just wasn’t doing the job, so I decided to get the new Dyson animal rollerball vacuum, and wow!!! Though you really couldn’t see the dirt in my living room, the new Dyson filled up a canister and a half of dirt/dust! Amazing!

Never had a vacuum with as much power and ease. Only thing would be nice is a retractable cord, otherwise it can't be beat.

easy to assemble ,could use an attachment to put the accessory parts on the vacuum for easy access while in use , also would not miss place or loose them while being stored. works well on hard floors as well as all kinds of carpet.

This was a very expensive vacuum and I was worried but spending so much for this but after using it, this is the best vacuum I have ever used. The ball is a bit awkward but once you get used to it, you understand the logic behind it.

I love this vaccume, it was worth splurging for.. i don't have an allergy attack while cleaning anymore and my couches are pet hair free. The only thing I'm ify on is when stretching out the hose the vacuum doesn't seem to have a wheel lock so the base of the vaccume is always rolling toward the back of your legs. If that makes sense. The suction makes up for it tho.. and all attachments are included. Score.
