I never thought that my house was this dirty before using this vacuum. OMG, you should see how much dirty came out on my first use. It sucked up dirt that my other vacuum didn't. the canister was almost full after vacuuming a small area. i am so happy i purchased this model. i suffer from in door allergy and i think it has helped me a lot since starting to use it.

I thought I needed new carpet and that it was just worn out until I bought my dyson. It picked up so much dog hair and dirt in one use. My carpet looks brand new again. Definitely a good buy and worth the price. So much cheaper than buying new carpet.

Works good both on hardwood and carpeted floor. Noise level acceptable. I wish there was a better way to get rid of dirt, since it is supposed to prevent allergy. I take it out in a closed bag that helps

Ball makes the product seem flimsy. Locking into 'park' position is tricky. Hose for suction is smaller them older yellow version. Nice to be able clean filter area.

This vacuum has great suction & easy to empty. It's easy to maneuver around on carpet or hardwood floors.

Great vacuum! Takes a little time to learn how to use it but has great suction and power and great length.

I have not owned this long, but so far so good! It REALLY gets up pet hair if that is an issue for you. I bought this to replace an 17 year old Dyson. It is much quieter and really picks up the dirt.

We had an older style Dyson Animal Vacuum for over 15 years and loved it. It is still working like a beast, but I wanted the newer Big Ball model. I absolutely LOVE this vacuum! And since our older Dyson is still working so well, we are cleaning it up and giving it to our nephews, who just bought a house. We are completely confident that they will get many, many years of use out of it. You just can't beat having a Dyson!

Super cleaner, light weight, easy to vacuum around furniture

I was shocked how much hair and dirt it picked up on first use. I own a Kirby and I thought it was the best thing ever. It put it to shame. I like that the hose and attachments are on the machine and ya don't have to remove things to attach hose. The one downside is it is heavier than I thought it would be in regards to pushing. The Kirby has a drive mode which made it super easy to move. Would recommend this product.

I have owned 3 Dyson uprights starting years ago with our DC 14 Animal (which still works great). I was eager to use Dyson's Cinetic technology in my home because it presents many challenges do to our many pets we share our home with. Amazon parrot, Citron Cockatoo, African Grey, one chinchilla, four cats, and two Australian Shepherds. You might say I have the ultimate testing ground, lol. This vacuum astetically is a work of art, has adequate suction, excellent tool supply, manuvability is ok (large ball limitability), excellent brush agitation & will handle pretty much anything I wanted removed from my floors. Most would be satisfied with this vacuum new. The reason I did not keep this model is because I had some long term ownership concerns about the filterless design ( at this point in time). Without any filters, the extremely fine particles have to go somewhere and all avenues lead to the origin of suction (the motor), I'd compare it to the likes of buying a computer without any firewall protection. Because of this, I returned the unit to Best Buy and purchased Dyson's Ball Animal Two (this vacuum has two lifetime filters). This vacuum (in my opinion) is the pinnacle of the Dyson line. The suction and manuvability (small ball) of this vacuum is unrivaled in the bagless world at this time....period. It is quite simply an AMAZING machine. If your not happy with this you might as well hire a cleaning person! Bottom line, do your homework before buying, and then buy the Dyson that your comfortable with, After all, Dyson machines still rule the bagless world. Hope this is helpful, Sincerely, Dave
