We have two hairy dogs and have to vacuum all the time. This picks up so much more than our previous vacuum and everything just feels cleaner! Not too heavy, easy to move around, easy to empty. It does do the squeak noise I saw people complain about but I don't mind it, it's not all the time and if it is cleaning my floors that well, I'll take it. It is worth the price!

I had always used basic Sears Kenmore tube vacuums but this time my wife and I opted to try this instead. It is a huge difference. Easy to maneuver, No bags, was pulling cat hair up from rug we never saw before! Lighter weight and easier maneuvering in tight spaces makes vacuuming go by a lot faster in our house. Don't hesitate - this is the one.

This vacuum is pricey but it really does a great job at sucking up all the hair and dust. I live in a house with two other humans, 3 dogs, and a cat. We use the vacuum frequently and it fills up multiple times with dog hair in one use. it's great. highly recommend for allergy sufferers like myself! Also, we've decided to name it Bronson: Dust Bunny Annihilator

I have a husky and two cats… needless to say, my house is full of hair. This is by far the best vacuum I have ever purchased. I bought this vacuum a few years ago and it is holding up great.

I absolutely love this Dyson, by far the best one they made. It helps with our allergies and keeps our house free of all pet dander.

but repair should be free, no matter what, i had to pay $ 40 when i or someone else in my mistakenly suck up a marker inside the new vaccum. 5 year guarantee doesn't mean that your mistakes will be pardoned.

This is a great vacuum. It is light, but very powerful and easy to use!

This vacuum is great for carpets in particularly if you have a dog. Only two dislikes: Doesn't provide a good solution if you have to clean underneath a sofa or cabinet; doesn't have a retractable cord.

Does not work well on thick carpet... I have thick pile carpet and this machine sucks too hard to even move over the carpet. I had to remove the baseplate in order for the machine to work effectivly...

Purchased this model after our 12 year old Dyson Animal ended up with a cracked containment cylinder. Definitely much lighter and the cord is longer as well. The ball system is an improvement and it seems more powerful than our old model. Very happy with this purchase and hope it will last as long as our first Dyson.

The most amazing vacuum I’ve owned. This is my second Dyson. The first one is still working but It’s 14 years old. I needed an upgrade due to kids and pets. I love the attachments with this vacuum too

Dyson is always a great product, but you really feel it when you're replacing an old item. I'd had my previous vacuum for over 10 years and it was just starting to not do a good job, so when I got this new one I was so amazed at all the stuff that the old one had been leaving behind. My carpet even feels cleaner and I'm very happy with this product.

This vacuum does a great job doing what its suppose to do. I wish the price was a bit lower. No filter that needs to be changed which is awesome.

I have been pleased with this vacuum as the Dyson I had previously had been too small for my needs. This vacuum is big enough to hand our entire house and I feel that it really gets deep into the carpet to get the dirt that settles deep in the rug. The only complaint I have is there is no locking system to keep the handle to the ball. You just grab it and it goes into push mode... no way to keep it locked up.

I waited for awhile before I splurged and bought this vacuum, but so glad I did. It gets all my pet hair up and the canister is easy release too!

It is working fine, only 1 month used. Only concern with this vacuum is the handle looks like not strong enough to carry it to place to place.

The vacuum has great suction, but is not always easy to get the fur out of it. Gets stuck in the canister.

This Dyson cleaner was purchased to clean hardwood flooring, room size rugs and carpeting, it has excelled at cleaning all 3. We have a golden retriever who sheds constantly. This model picks up all her shedding and does not get clogged. It is easy to handle and lightweight.

Still the best vacuums by far. Worth the expense. The Dyson I replaced lasted 12 years and would still be going if not for my maids lack of care.
