I had to put some thought and do some research before invest in this Dyson, but now I'm happy I choose it! Very good, it's worth the price.

I have had Dyson vacuums for years and have always totally loved them. However, believe it or not, this vacuum has so much suction it makes it hard to vacuum my carpet and I'm afraid in the long run it might even damage the carpet backing. It has become a real chore to run the vacuum on the carpet. Using it on hard wood or for other cleaning is great, but for vacuuming carpet I would chose one of the previous models.

Our dogs sheds like crazy, no problems. It is also easy to empty.

First of all it is a Dyson and I am a huge fan of their products. This one is no exception and the proof is when you run it over a floor that you thought was already clean.....and then you see how much more this can pick up than other vacuums. It comes with a ton of tools and used the mattress tool and was pretty shocked at how much super-fine dust and dander came out of my mattress. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. It is a bit on the high side but I waited until there was a sale and felt very good about my purchase price for the quality and performance. Also love that this one doesn't even require washing out a filter and waiting 24 hours for it to dry like my last one and my V10 stick vacuum.

This vacuum is a delight; very nicely designed. Easy to maneuver, effective on bare and carpeted floors, as well as upholstery. The power cord is long enough to allow vacuuming several rooms without changing power outlets. Clever wand and crevice tool reach hard-to-get places. A great upgrade from my prior vacuums.

This vacuum has excellent suction power. I was surprised to see just how dirty my floors were. The amount of material captured by this vacuum that wasn't by my older cheaper vacuum was a little disturbing. I would probably buy a smaller Dyson if you don't have pets, or if you have an apartment/small home. I have an apartment and it is honestly overkill.

Wow! This vacuum is amazing! I was shocked to see all the hair, sand and dirt that came up off my floor. I have both carpet and tile and it worked great on both. The level of suction on this vacuum is super strong! I cant wait to try some other Dyson products.

This is my second dyson after 14 yrs. Yes the first one lasted for 14 yrs and cannot think of getting anything else. Hopefully they can make it more economical in coming yrs

Had my first Dyson animal for 10 plus years, finally wanted a new one. This one is of same quality.

Pricey but well worth it if you do a lot of vacuuming. This is one powerful vacuum! I went back to corded because my home is too big for my cordless Dyson. I'm amazed at how quiet this vacuum cleaner is compared to others I own/owned.

We own a Dyson V6 and with a German Shepherd and a two story house the V6 was great but felt like we had to empty a lot. Got the animal+allergy and I was shocked how much dirt and hair got picked up. Definitely worth the money. Dyson service was great for the V6 when the battery had an issue they shipped a new one and received it in two days.

All I can say is if you have pets and you have purchased anything BUT a Dyson. Stop thinking about it and invest. It is the best most powerful Vacuum I have ever purchased. Picks up dog hair like nothing. I don't have to worry about adjusting to the floor type or anything like that. I'm so happy with my new vacuum! I look forward to using it!!

Never use anything else once I've used a Dyson. I can't believe how much pet hair it picks up!

I did not want to spend this much money on a vacuum, but so far it is living up to it price tag.

Very nice sweeper. Def sucks up a lot of dirt. I don’t know that it’s $700 better than others but it’s definitely a powerful sweeper. A real complaint is if you have woman with long hair in the home the hair gets tangled easily around the head and is very difficult to get off.

Definitely has great suction but it's heavy and hard to move around. still, suction outweighs it all

I must say that I used to have an old DC model and I loved it. However this model does feel a bit flimsy and you can't manually adjust the height of the vacuum for your carpet since it has an automatic adjusting head for floor surface. However the suction is good but I still wanna try it out for another few months just to make sure thought to be honest. Over all it does pic up allot of fine micro dust that I'm happy with.

Works great on carpet and tile. Seems to have great suction.

The suction is incredible and I can’t believe how much funk was on my floor. Assembly was a little confusing but it was mostly my error, though I wish they would have had a table of contents and parts list with pictures. However be try friendly service when I called the line.
