The vaccuum works great, does a fantastic job on both hard floors and carpet. Easier to transport than what other say, and seems more durable. Definitely more expensive than it should be, but it product backs it up at least.

I love this vacuum! It makes cleaning so much easier! It is easy to push, lightweight and I love the attachments that helps you to reach up high to get the dust off of thing's and the power of the pick up on carpet and hard floors is amazing! I vacuumed my carpet before I bought it and I used it when I got it home to see if it would pick up anything else and I almost fell over because it picked up so much dirt that I had to empty the canister of dirt that was left from my other vacuum!

I fought and and battled my old vacuum for a whole year before I decided to break down and buy a new vacuum. I wasn't sure which one to buy at first and read review after review and to no avail couldn't find the "perfect" vacuum. Well I finally found it. I can't say anything bad about this product and have it be remotely true. Hands down the best purchase I've made in my adulthood. I'm fired up about this vacuum people it's the real deal. I like clean carpets and before I knew it mine were trashed and my old vacuum wasn't on par. I bought this hog and my carpets are restored, clean, and singing hallelujah

We've had an aging Electrolux... a very expensive vacuum, but the suction on this machine is AWESOME. We have two dogs, one of whom sheds like mad, and between the hardwood floors and area rugs we have, we filled the container on this vacuum three times the first time we used it. It got stuff out of our rugs that must have been there for years, and with the excellent air filtration, that didn't just get blown around. Dirt in rugs is what creates the friction that breaks down rug fibers, and the cleaner you keep things the longer they last. This thing will pay for itself. Can't recommend highly enough.

Came to the store wanting a Sharp, but after talking to the sales rep., bought a Dyson instead. Product is much better made, a better value for the money, and had a lot of cool attachments such as for ceiling fans and wood blinds which we will definitely use. It has a lot of suction and also self adjusts for any length carpet for wood floor - you don't have to set it as you enter each room with a different type of floor. Very nice!

I've had the same Dyson for many, many years. I have 3 dogs that stay in the house so the carpet gets kind of hairy a lot. When we finally had to replace the old vacuum we definitely wanted another Dyson. This new has even better suction. It is a little heavier though, but I love it.

I love this vacuum and have always been a fan of Dyson products. Works great and very easy to use. Cleans perfect every time. Only cons are the price and for its high cost there should be a better cord storage.

This is my first Dyson Vac, I've tried the other Elite Vacuums, they don't compare to the power of Dyson. I vacuumed with an Oreck, superior vacuum of it's time, then I vacuumed again with the Dyson and it sucked up EVERY THING. It also emits a nice fragrance while you vacuum, which I love, takes away my carpet fresh routine. I purchased the more expensive version because I have 3 cats. This vacuum hasn't clogged and the brushed haven't accumulated excessive fur on the main brush, my Oreck needed dismantling and clipping of the fur, this is a nice break. If you have an Long-Hair Cat, you'll love this product. I also use it to get the spider webs in my basement, works great, no longer using the broom before I spray my spider killing spray.

My Dyson is really awesome. We have a yellow lab that sheds a lot and the vacuum picks up everything. Best suction I've ever had in a vacuum. Very easy to use and I love how it automatically adjusts from carpet to tile or wood floors. After I vacuum, I feel that the carpets are really cleaned well. Only downside I've experienced so far is it's kind of awkward when vacuuming the stairs. But to me, that's a minor flaw. Otherwise, really awesome vacuum. So glad I got it.

I am very skeptical when products promise great thing but then when you take that chance to just go ahead and buy it like a retired woman watching QVC in Florida. After thinking it over for about five years they came out with this amazing vacuum, and honestly there's nothing amazing about vacuums because either they work or they don't, I tried the experiment I vacuumed the house with my old unit, which looked like it did the job because I vacuum each week and there are only my roommate and I in the house. I then revacuumed the house with the new Dyson Animal+Allergy and not only was it easier to move around it still filled the canister! I was shocked, I didn't honestly think it would work but this was money well spent!

This vacuum is great but it's a bit hard to control. I am not a big fan of the big ball design which is hard to control. Its great for people with allergies. Doesn't lose any suction, easy to empty out.

This vacuum is amazing. Cannot believe how well it picks up goes from carpet to hardwood. All the attachments make cleaning a breeze. Not having filters to clean is the best thing about this vacuum.

Why haven't we purchased one sooner, awesome vacuum picks up way Marie than old one. Carpet looks great after using this vacuum, we just love it.

This vacuum is like the cadillac of all vacuums. it is so great and its awesome to see how much dust and lint it will pick up every time i use it. while this is a very pricey item, it is worth it.

I haven't had many vaccums but I did try a shark before this and although had great suction! I would choose my dyson over it because the suction and the overall performance is worth the money!!

I was hesitant purchasing my Dyson bc the price was so steep. After doing some research and talking to friends I decided to take the plunge. I am so glad I did!!! I was always prided myself for vacuuming multiple times a week. Well after the first time using my Dyson I was horrified by just how much my old vacuum was missing. Love all the attachments. ...not one area that I can't clean! Only downside is the weight of the machine.

Great vacuum with SUPER great suction and a very long cord. My only issue with it is that it’s heavy.

I have used it only for a month now and I am impressed by the suction power and the maneuverability. This thing is heavy but its so much maneuverable that you would not feel the weight of the machine on your wrists.Takes 1 or 2 takes to learn the trick but after that its all about shifting the handle left and right to turn the machine as per your direction of choice. The built feels very premium and the overall sound is less compared to conventional vacuum cleaners. So far am satisfied with the money spent on this machine.

I was a previous Dyson DC14 Animal user until it stopped working. Used it for about 8 years. Love the ball use. Only challenge with the ball is on my hardwood floors. The ball does not turn as easily on the hardwoods as it does on the carpets. It so easy to maneuver the vacuum on the carpets. Great suction! I swear this vacuum "creates" dirt because I really don't think my house can be that dirty. Picks up animal hair from our 3 cats without a problem. Long term I hope the handle holds up for all the twisting and turning done using the ball. Buy this vacuum when on sale as it is expensive, but it should last and as well as it works, its worth the extra money.

Got this for my wife. She loves it. Easy to use and cleans up like no other vacuum cleaner we have owned. The nicest part is you see all the dirt that was on your floor. Really amazing
