I like everything about this vacuum so far, except that you can’t lock it in place and tip it back to move it across the room. Every time I try, the bottom tips down. This is irritating, b/c I would figure all vacuums would have this locking feature. Otherwise, the suction is unreal!

I am completely disappointed in this vacuum, don't quite understand how the quality and ease of use declined so greatly in such a highly rated, higher end product. I love my older model Dyson, it is about 10 years old, in great condition but needed some parts replaced; a gasket,belt, and filter. Before the parts arrived I ended up needing to vacuum for guests so I got a new Dyson and planned to re-purpose the older one. I did some quick research on price & performance, and at the store ended up choosing the best model Best Buy had to offer, as family has allergies and I was expecting a long lasting, quality product. From the very first time I set up and used this vacuum I was unhappy, the suction is equal or less than my 10 year old model, motion is not smooth, difficult around furniture. This unit is hard to control; the roller ball is very hard to maneuver and REALLY hard on your arm & shoulder. I am fairly athletic and can only imagine someone who wasn't would find it difficult and painful to use even for a short time. The tools and bag seemed exciting at first but quickly realized that there is no on board storage for even the 1-2 most commonly used accessories and nowhere to put the bag unless you want to carry it like a purse from room to room. The new accessories only work with the new models because they click into the hose instead of a tension fit.. Seems like the idea behind all the new tools is good but the execution is poor, down to the way the accessories don't fit neatly into the pockets of the bag. For the price I feel like there are many competitors models with superior performance at about 1/2 the cost. I was a big fan & cheerleader for Dyson but unless there is a major improvement in quality this will be my last. If I hadn't needed to use this the night I purchased it I would have returned it the very next day, but once it was used & the clear canister showing such I felt stuck. Honestly with the parts replaced my older model works good as new, I wish I had not splurged on this expensive, clunky, so-so vacuum. Very disappointed.

I have all carpet floor, and this vacuum does suck and clean all the dirt.

Best vacuum ever purchased. Well worth the money. Little heavy, hard to use when vacuuming stairs but overall excellent product.

Don't hesitate to pick up this vacuum. It'll do everything you want it to and more. I have 5 kids, 3 dogs, a cat, and a smattering of other people in the house. It really helps and all the attachments make this the best vacuum for me.

Have two furry dogs with lots of hair. This vacuum picks up everything. Great product

This vacuum is worth the price. First day we got it we had already vacuumed with our old vacuum. We went over the same area with the Dyson and were astounded by how much more it picked up! Two days after getting it our cat knocked over a Large potted plant upside down on our WHITE carpet. The vacuum picked it all up no problem and the carpet looks exactly the same as before. Very satisfied.

Very powerful but it is not a light weight vacuum.

It’s a Dyson. Shouldn’t have to say more BUT it’s awesome. I thought my old Dyson was still doing a pretty good job. Was I surprised when I saw the amount of fine dirt that was coming off my floors. I love the ball. It’s a little awkward at first but once you get used to it you are able to maneuver it in ways you can’t with a straight moving machine.
