We bought it when our A/C went out this summer and we could not get it fixed until one month later. It helped us stay cool during the night for a few weeks.

Great fan, but expensive

Great air flow, remote control, sleek and effective. Still a bit in expensive side, hence the 4 star rating for cost versus value, but worth it for a gift-and it on sale for a better deal

Could be better for this price point

For this hefty price point, I feel like that’s such a simple thing to have with all the bells and whistles already going for this thing. The filter is filled nightly but I have several dogs. I wish I had gotten the upgraded version.

At first I was skeptical about the price but Dyson is a reliable and outstanding brand so you know you have the best quality. It is very quiet and it's definitely the best fan I've ever owned.

Can't believe how quiet this fan is

It is not heavy and can be moved easily. the fan is very modern and the blue color matches any decor. I do think that it is a bit pricey and the remote control is way too small, especially for anyone over the age of 40 something.

Just What I Wanted

My rooms are large ((LR about 35*20, FAM about 18*20 square feet). I set the fan in the large passage between the two rooms, and use the oscillator. It provides a quiet, soft breeze to the entire area. Not a wind that requires one to weight down the papers on the table, but a gentle cooling air that provides comfort. The noise is minimal, and even my fussy family members tolerate it easily. Sometimes I use the fan for both rooms, sometimes I direct it just toward the dining area. It serves us exactly as I hoped it would. I'm very pleased.
