Blew air. Just air. Room temperature air. Di not cool at all

The fan is ok. But little to no cooling difference. At that price point, get a portable AC.

What a great addition to our home. It provides better airflow directly to us than a standard ceiling fan, and there really are no noticeable moving parts. The aesthetics of it, as all Dyson products, is a nice fit to our home. Assembly was easy and quick, and its ready to go within 1 -2 min after opening. You really don’t even need the instructions because the operation of it is simple and intuitive. One of the better features is that its quieter than a normal fan, which is great since we work from home and enjoy a way to stay cooler during the hot summers without the extra noise during meetings or calls. With the remote we don’t even have to get up to make any changes to it, just point and click.. The remote is small, and easy to use. 4 simple functions with the remote: Power, Oscillating, Speed, and Timer options. The remote fits in your hand comfortably and even has a magnetic attachment to the top of the fan to help you not misplace it. Its quite responsive but you do need to be facing the front of the fan for it to work. The only thing I wasn’t impressed with was the power cord length. While this is not a deal breaker of any kind, it can be an inconvenience. I’d say the cord is roughly about 5 feet long just looking at it. Having the flexibility to move it around a room more would be nice, but nothing a small extension cord can’t fix. Overall its a great fan to have and puts out a good amount of air considering it doesn’t use traditional fan blades. We have received several compliments from our guests on how nice it is.

This fan does not cool a room as per the description and customer reviews. Unfortunately, the return date passed and I am unable to return this piece of garbage.

The design of the fan is sleek. It’s definitely a Dyson product haha. I love that it’s bladeless and that it’s an attractive design. The tower fan is surprisingly light for how tall it is. I like that it doesn’t take up a large footprint. The fan’s performance is really great. I can set it on the other side of my bedroom (roughly 7-8 feet away from the bed) and it provides a nice stream of air without any interruption. It has 10 different levels of intensity so I can dial it in to the exact level I want it at. The oscillation works as expected. It’s a steady rotation (70 degree angle according to Dyson). I found that it was more than enough range to cover all the seating in my living room. The sleep timer is also nice and can be run for as little as 15 minutes and up to 9 hours. My only real complaint is the remote. The design of the remote is fine and easy to understand. My complaint is that it needs a clear line of sight to the fan to work, and in my experience it was very finicky. Overall it’s a great fan that works well and it has essential features.

Found a significantly cheaper fan on Amazon and has a much better blow rate.

If you enjoy spending 300 dollars on a fan that doesn’t work right out of the box - this is the fan for you!!!

The fan stopped blowing air after one month. The digital light will turn on, but no air!

 It was like a regular fan. There is nothing special about it.

It's a fan and it blows! I had always been skeptical of these bladeless fan systems. I always figured it too good to be true. I was definitely proven wrong. I used to keep a box fan running in my room as it gets hot with a PC build that doubles as a space heater in the Winter. Since getting the Dyson, it's helped keep the room much much cooler, while being quieter and moving more air, not to mention it rotating while doing so. I do like the simplicity of it and the simplictic design. The heigt of it I think really lends to it's abilities to cool as it's able to cool a great deal more than my cheap box fan. The assembly of it was quick and easy, took maybe a minute to get it assembled and powered on. I does stay on throughout the day, so it's longevity will be put to the test as I work from home and my room has poor air circulation. I think one big benefit will be that this uses less energy I think than the box fan while accomplishing more. I've not used it any higher than the 4 setting, partly from sound, but I don't need that much when 3 or 4 are fine. It's not a big distraction like the box fan is, and is a fraction of the footprint space wise. This is much easier to position and works fine on carpet. It seems relatively easy enough to maintain when it comes to dealing with more dusty environments like mine. The filter that goes around the intake at the bottom is easy to clean with a rag. It may require blowing out with some compressed air from time to time. I really hope it lasts me though. For all that these cost, I'd expect several years, at least 5 out of one so time will tell. Overall I think it's great alternative to your standard box fan or raised rotating fans because they cover so much more area and move more air especially while being quieter. If you're short on space, these fans are a fantastic option.

I love this fan! It's very quiet and I've had no issues. It almost acts as white noise during the night. The air coming out is also cool. The only complaint is that it doesn't keep the entire room cold, but it's great!

Absolutely amazing fan! We were extremely happy with the fans different levels of power, and its ability to make a room comfortable quickly! The icing on the cake was the blade free design, which having 9 little grandchildren makes this a perfect find!

Dyson has a history of making great products, and they didnt slack when they made this tower fan! I absolutely love it! First of all, the fan takes up minimal space. It has a very small footprint, especially when compared to other fans with standard blades that push the air. This tower fan doesn't have blades. It simply has the air multiplier feature that, in my opinion, spreads the air flow wider than a normal fan. It also comes with a remote control which allows a person to increase or decrease the fan speed. It also allows you to control the motion of the fan to broadcast air left to right. The fan doesn't pull air from behind it like most fans. The base actually has vent holes that pull air from below the fan and push it through the top of the fan. If you are looking for a fan that produces a lot of noise, this is not the fan for you. It is a lot quieter then a normal fan. It came well packaged and was fairly easy to assemble. It was essentially three pieces. The flat base, the fan motor, and the top where the air comes out. The white color of the fan does seem to attract/collect dirt easily. Over all, im happy with this fan!

I love how quiet yet cooling it is! All of my guests compliment its sleek look since it’s not a sight for sore eyes like how many fans/AC units are.

Good quality fan, many options, doesn't have a loud annoying sound, space saving

This style of fan that sells for a few hundred dollars - is it worth it? I bought this fan based upon a friends recommendation, but I was sceptical. To my surprise the cool air it generated was far superior to any other fan and my wife kept saying it was like an air conditioner. Anyway the fan has been a pleasant add to our guest room and we are very pleased with it.
