While this fan is great, anything above setting 4/10 is quite loud. I kept waking up thinking my CPAP hose had disconnected which is rather annoying because you have to wake up enough to figure out what all the blowing noise is. I only bought it here because it was so much cheaper than anywhere else. Still, like I said, it is a great fan.

First it looks very nice and modern. Second it does not have any blade, so it is very safe. Lastly but not least it works very well. You could hear air noise when you turn up the scale above 7 or 8 (10 is max), but below that, it runs quiet. Below 3, you hear barely anything and you can still feel the cool breeze. If you operate at around 5 for a few hours, the room feels like 10 deg cooler when outside is above 80. It also rotates. It is not a cheap unit, but worth the price.

Very compact and since no blades, it is very safe. Also quiet compare to conventional fan.

Actually, this is our second Dyson tower fan. We have one in the bedroom and now have one in the family room. It moves a lot of air, is quiet, and mostly doesn't ruin the esthetic of the room.

I enjoy Dyson products a great deal. I really love their fan. I bought previous versions before this one and they were a little loud when turned on the highest function. This one is much quite than other models.

I needed a fan for my media room since the AC does not cool this room well. I decided to purchase this Dyson fan based on prior experience with Dyson vacuum products. So far I’m really liking this fan. It’s very quiet for how powerful it blows air. I also like the remote feature and the ability for the fan to oscillate air flow. I caught this fan on a Best Buy deal of the day. I wouldn’t want to pay full price, but I think it’s a great value at half off the original retail price.

A bit louder than we'd like, but it works wonderfully to keep a room cool.

The fan is easy to put together. It really moves the air and very quiet.

I love these Dyson fans, I have an older one that needs a filter but it still works. This new fan that doesn’t need a filter is awesome, all you need to do to clean dust from the outside is a vacuum brush over the ventilation holes and it’s clean.

Love the remote control aspect of it , it’s sleek character and it’s ease of use.

Of course, the price is the first thing I looked at considering anything over $50 for a fan would be overpriced. However, the power, ease of use, and design make it an awesome buy. Easy to clean (no blades) and very lightweight. It also looks really sleek with the rest of the furniture in my room. My only complaint is that when set to 10 (highest setting) you can hardly hear the TV or anything else for that matter. Overall, I'm pleased with the product.

Overall the fan works great but I think it is a little too pricey for what it does. Paying $400 I would expect for it to cool more than just a small area. It is quiet for the most part and I like that it is safe for the little ones to be around!

I absolutely love this fan, it will make my room cold within a couple hours. specially when i leave it turned on over night. when i wake up it's literally below 62 F. I would have loved to get the Cool/Heat fan thoe.
