The fan works great!!! My only issue is the noise level. I've read reviews previous to this purchase that mentioned it is quiet. Older versions of Dyson fans must have been really noisy in order for this one to be considered quiet. It's not totally quiet but the noise level of this fan is tolerable, even while I'm sleeping.

What this fan comes down to is if you have the money to spend. It does sound like a mini jet engine when on, but it works well and keeps you cool. Works best if writhing 5 feet of fan. Of course having no blades is great for homes with young children.

What a great addition to our home. It provides better airflow directly to us than a standard ceiling fan, and there really are no noticeable moving parts. The aesthetics of it, as all Dyson products, is a nice fit to our home. Assembly was easy and quick, and its ready to go within 1 -2 min after opening. You really don’t even need the instructions because the operation of it is simple and intuitive. One of the better features is that its quieter than a normal fan, which is great since we work from home and enjoy a way to stay cooler during the hot summers without the extra noise during meetings or calls. With the remote we don’t even have to get up to make any changes to it, just point and click.. The remote is small, and easy to use. 4 simple functions with the remote: Power, Oscillating, Speed, and Timer options. The remote fits in your hand comfortably and even has a magnetic attachment to the top of the fan to help you not misplace it. Its quite responsive but you do need to be facing the front of the fan for it to work. The only thing I wasn’t impressed with was the power cord length. While this is not a deal breaker of any kind, it can be an inconvenience. I’d say the cord is roughly about 5 feet long just looking at it. Having the flexibility to move it around a room more would be nice, but nothing a small extension cord can’t fix. Overall its a great fan to have and puts out a good amount of air considering it doesn’t use traditional fan blades. We have received several compliments from our guests on how nice it is.

I’m a big fan of Dyson products from blow dryers to vacuums, this fan is high quality and most importantly looks nice sitting in my living room. The multiple settings and oscillation are perfect to what I need on a daily basis.

I wish I would’ve bought this earlier! This is a great fan it has a lot of settings. Yes it’s on the expensive side but the fact that you don’t have to tear it apart to clean it... Super awesome!

So happy we splurged for this fan.. totally worth it if you need a fan while sleeping. Super quiet and totally surpasses all the others that claim to be quiet. My only complaint is how bright the number is showing what speed it's on.

The air barely moves around the room, but you can rest assured that it is on because it so loud. I returned this product and got a tower Vornado instead....

This fan is awesome. Our a/c was acting up and this fan helped keep my bedroom cool. It’s powerful and I don’t even have to have it on the highest setting. I know it’s pricey but to me it’s worth it.

Blew air. Just air. Room temperature air. Di not cool at all

bought this fan for my daughter , she loves it, she said it's cool in her room when the fan is on, beside the fan is really quiet when it is on so she can have a good sleep

The dust will build up on the bottom of the fan where it sucks the air and gets dirty. The remote can be held better at a better location. Overall its a brand that you are buying and the looks.

Easy to assemble, and works pretty well. Actual fan is within the motor, and is directed upwards to the oval shaped fan opening. My problem with all of the fans I've tried, is that, the motor gets clogged with pet hair and stops working. I'm hoping this will not be true with this one.

I thought this fan would blow cooler air than a “normal” fan, but it doesn’t. Looks cool and has a small remote to operate, which are nice, but do not justify the price.

I was determined to purchase this fan for the looks but the performance really sealed the deal. Not as quiet as i thought but its a fan, it has to produce some level of sound.

This fan cools your entire Room. It is very quiet it doesn't get dusty. I really like that no one knows it's a fan!

Great fan, but not amazing given the price. Noisy like lower cost fans at higher speeds. The remote is nice. There's a magnet place on top of the fan to put the remote. 10 different fan speeds. Timer included.

It does fan stuff, and for that I am proud of it, but it’s lacking those certain white noises that makes fans our friends year round. Sure, it has noises of its own, but it’s not the same. Works great tho

Dyson has a history of making great products, and they didnt slack when they made this tower fan! I absolutely love it! First of all, the fan takes up minimal space. It has a very small footprint, especially when compared to other fans with standard blades that push the air. This tower fan doesn't have blades. It simply has the air multiplier feature that, in my opinion, spreads the air flow wider than a normal fan. It also comes with a remote control which allows a person to increase or decrease the fan speed. It also allows you to control the motion of the fan to broadcast air left to right. The fan doesn't pull air from behind it like most fans. The base actually has vent holes that pull air from below the fan and push it through the top of the fan. If you are looking for a fan that produces a lot of noise, this is not the fan for you. It is a lot quieter then a normal fan. It came well packaged and was fairly easy to assemble. It was essentially three pieces. The flat base, the fan motor, and the top where the air comes out. The white color of the fan does seem to attract/collect dirt easily. Over all, im happy with this fan!
