At first I thought it would do a better job at cooling down my room but it's just an ordinary fan. Nothing special.

After 1 week of use fan gave me an error code f2 unable to fix unable to return so im stuck with a 300 piece of trash lmao

THIS REVIEW PERTAINS TO THE DYSON COOL-AM07 TOWER FAN - IN BLUE/IRON COLOR STYLING, AND IS INDICATED AS THE FIRST BEST BUY CUSTOMER REVIEW EVER ON THIS PRODUCT, SO I HOPE TO DO IT JUSTICE. HOWEVER, I CANNOT SAY MUCH ON THIS SUBJECT, AS THE HIGH-TECH CONCEPT OF A BLADELESS FAN JUST LEAVES ME AT A LOSS FOR WORDS...................................... NAH, I'M JUST KIDDING!!! I INTEND TO TRY MY BEST, SO HERE GOES. THE DYSON COOL-AM07 TOWER FAN IS SO COOL THAT IT ALMOST BLOWS ME AWAY. IN MY PERSONAL OPINION, THE BLUE/IRON COLORING ADDS A RATHER NICE ACCENT TO AN OVERALL DESIGN THAT APPROPRIATELY REPRESENTS THE HIGH-TECH NATURE OF THIS PRODUCT. DYSON BLADELESS FANS ARE AVAILABLE IN A VARIETY OF SIZES, COLORS, AND DESIGNS TO FIT YOUR OWN NEEDS OR PREFERENCES. THE NEW AM07 MODEL IS A REPLACEMENT AND, EVEN MORE NOTICEABLE, A SIGNIFICANT IMPROVEMENT OVER ITS PREDECESSOR THE AM03. CONVERSELY TO THE OLDER MODEL AM03, THIS NEW MODEL AM07 IS CONSIDERABLY QUIETER AND SMOOTHER IN OPERATION. ALL DYSON COOL FANS COME WITH A TINY, CONTOURED REMOTE CONTROLLER, APPROXIMATELY THE SIZE OF AN AVERAGE BASIC CELL-PHONE BATTERY. SINCE THE REMOTE IS SO TINY, IT IS EASILY PRONE TOO LOSS OR ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE. DYSON HAS, ALSO, PUT CONSIDERATION INTO THIS FEATURE BY ALLOWING IT TO ATTACH MAGNETICALLY TO THE FAN ITSELF. FURTHER, IF SOME UNFORTUNATE INCIDENT WERE TO OCCUR, REPLACEMENT REMOTES ARE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE AT A FAIR PRICE. ADMITTEDLY, THE PRICE OF SUCH FANS IS QUITE EXORBITANT AND A BIT SHOCKING. IF THIS PRODUCT WOULD ALSO PROVIDE THE FURTHER BENEFITS OF AN AIR-CONDITIONER, I THINK MANY COULD THEN PERCEIVE THE EXPENSIVE COST AS MORE THAN REASONABLE. ALL DYSON FANS, NO MATTER HOW IMPRESSIVELY HIGH-TECH THEIR OPERATION IS, PROVIDE AN AMAZING APPROACH TOWARD A QUITE SIMPLISTIC FUNCTION. EVIDENTLY, HIGH-TECHNOLOGY SEEMS TO EQUAL HIGH PRICING. IF, PERHAPS, MORE CONSUMERS WOULD BE DESIROUS TO OWN THE FEATURES OF SUCH A FAN, AND COULD HAVE THE ABILITY TO AFFORD THE CURRENT EXORBITANCE OF ITS COST, MORE OF SUCH FANS WOULD BECOME POPULAR AND THE PRICE MAY, IN THE FUTURE, BECOME MORE REASONABLE. MAY WE FOCUS SOLELY ON THE UNDENIABLY CRUCIAL ASPECT OF SAFETY, WHICH ALL MUST AGREE IS POSITIVELY PRICELESS. THE BLADELESS FAN DOES, INDEED, OFFER A SUPERIOR LEVEL OF SAFETY, AS COMPARED TO A FAN WITH ROTATING BLADES. A BLADELESS FAN ENSURES PROTECTION IN THAT MANNER, IF YOU HAVE A CHILD, OR A PET, OR IF YOU VALUE PROTECTION OF YOUR OWN FINGERS, HAIR, ETC. ANYHOW, I'VE ALWAYS POSSESSED A DEEP INTEREST IN SCIENCE AND A CREATIVE IMAGINATION; THOUGH, I CANDIDLY HAD NOT ANTICIPATED THAT I'D EVER SEE OR OWN A QUITE SIMPLISTIC PRODUCT, WHICH I CERTAINLY FIND TO BE SUCH AN AMAZING CONCEPT. I SOMETIMES PONDER WHICH IS A MORE INCREDIBLE INVENTION...THE CELL-PHONE OR THE BLADELESS FAN. IT'S HARD TO DECIDE, AS BOTH SHARE THE ASPECTS OF HIGH-TECH CAPABILITIES AND BASIC PRACTICALITY, YET THEY ARE VERY, VERY DIFFERENT. ANYHOW, I DO TRUST MY REVIEW PROVES HELPFUL TO OTHERS, SINCE I BELIEVE THIS ADEQUATELY SUMS UP, MAYBE NOT EVERY DETAIL, BUT MOST OF IT. I SURELY HOPE OTHERS, TOO, CAN ENJOY THE BENEFITS AND FORTUNATELY OWN SUCH A NICE AND REMARKABLE PRODUCT. AND, LET'S ALL TRY TO KEEP COOL!!!

Very nice and quiet with a small form to fit any area

This style of fan that sells for a few hundred dollars - is it worth it? I bought this fan based upon a friends recommendation, but I was sceptical. To my surprise the cool air it generated was far superior to any other fan and my wife kept saying it was like an air conditioner. Anyway the fan has been a pleasant add to our guest room and we are very pleased with it.

After some time become the noise and doesn’t turn completely alas makes to slow

Quiet, well designed with plenty of power. We use one floor fan in our living room to supplement our central AC, including another used in our bedroom for the hot days we have in Elk Grove. This arrangement helps our AC unit to work less and effectively distribute the cooler air throughout the house.

I love this fan. The minimalistic style makes it seem to go away in the room. The noise level at an 8 (which I use during extreme heat) is like a white noise. Very happy with this purchase.

I really like this fan. The noise level puts me right to sleep! My only complaint and the reason it got 4 stars instead of 5 is because I wish the sensor for the remote was at the top of the fan instead of the bottom. I have it at the foot of my bed and it will not turn on/off unless the remote is pointing to the sensor at the bottom of the fan; thus requiring me to get out of bed to power on/off (god forbid I know but still a minor inconvenience).

This is a great fan. It moves a lot of air and I’m glad I bought it. My previous Dyson allowed me to angle the fan and this one does not. That’s really the only reason I rated it as I did. Really I’d give it a 4.5 if I could

I can't sleep with some loud horrible fan going all night. But this fan is quiet enough for me on settings 1-3 so that I can't even really hear it. It doesn't move a ton of air at those speeds, but it's enough to keep me cool when sleeping. This fan is truly a Godsend. I can finally get a good night's sleep in spring/fall when it's not warm enough outside to turn the air conditioning on without damaging the compressor but it's too freaking hot to sleep at night. If you're just looking for a normal fan and don't care about how quiet it is, then look elsewhere. $400 is freaking RIDICULOUS for a fan. If I didn't need a quiet fan for sleeping then I never would have bought this.

Works well and keeps my room cool. It does get louder when you crank it up to the max but it doesn’t bother me

A bit pricey but this fan circulates the air really well. The buttons on the remote blend in too well. Therefore they are hard to read.
