I broke down and purchased this after returning four other tower fans to various retailers because they either weren't balanced, made awful motor noises, or the fan speed would fluctuate while on the lowest setting keeping awake. Yes it was expensive but I took a chance on it and it has been the best fan I have ever owned.

Art Deco Fan

Need to put on lower settings to reduce fan noise. On high, not really able to watch TV comfortably. Would have given it a higher rating if it quieter. .
