But is it worth the money? Don’t think so. The high price is because of the rechargeable battery. It has smaller surface area, so takes longer to straighten the hair. Yet to figure out anything too special compared to other ones in the market.

Without any product it still feels silly and smooth. It feels airy, and for my thick coarse hair I’ve never been about to get it to feel like that. ONLY drawback is it does within 30-45 mins. I have a lot of hair and it takes me a long time. Maybe the short time works for other people but I have to keep placing it on the charger between sections. But I still love it.

This is by far the best straightener I have ever used. Flattens my hair the first time through with way less heat. Would absolutely recommend to anyone!

I gave this iron four stars instead of five because it's really heavy, and it's really expensive. With that being said... it charges quickly, and it heats up quickly. I love the copper plates. My hair looks fabulous, and I have natural dry gray hair, so frizz is a major issue. The Dyson hair iron does better than any other tool I've used, with the exception of the Dyson hair dryer. You gotta get you one!

My excitement quickly faded when I realized that although it was nicely packaged, this product did not outperform other reasonably priced hair straighteners. I have curly thick hair, and this product did not do much for me. It’s also very heavy and harder to handle. 5 stars on packaging and display, but this went back to the store.

I love the stand. Can either charge while on thevstsnd or on the device itself. The battery life is approximately 20 minutes, which I think is decent bc any bigger battery and it would be too heavy. It also has a plug to insert which allows you to carry on a plane, with a nice velvet case. I was in a hurry so I just went over some of my problem areas, I have no complaints.

Love the Dyson hair dryer set and will never return that one ! But straightener doesnt work so good ! Battery dies fast. Not as good as we expect from Dyson!

The run time will depend on the amount of time the unit spends heating the plates. The ambient temperature of the room, and how damp the hair is can also affect the run time. Generally, we recommend that users try using on a lower heat setting to extend the run time. Depending on hair type the lower and medium temperature setting will achieve styling performance. We advise against defaulting to the highest setting, we’d recommend starting with the lowest temperature and only increasing if needed.
