I had heard it myself but didn’t think it was a big deal because I wasn’t using it at a salon. I’m keeping it but the power dies very quickly. It a one style and then you better put it back on the charger. Little over priced for these issues.

The Dyson Corrale™ straightener is a cord-free straightener that provides the same thermal performance as corded products, but with cord-free versatility. It provides up to 30 minutes cord-free styling and is fully recharged in just 70 minutes. You can also extend your run time by attaching the magnetic 360ᵒ charging cable for use in hybrid charge mode should you need longer. Also, while in use to help prolong the battery life, we'd recommend placing the straightener back on the dock, between styling sections of your hair. I absolutely love this straightener

My previous straightener was pretty great, until I tried this one. I am so in love with how well it straightens my hair and how soft it feels after it has been straightened. I usually have to put the temp at above 400 degrees to get my hair straight, but I can actually put it on the lowest setting with my dyson and it gets my hair really straight and feeling very nice and soft. I don't think I have every owned a straightener that made my hair this straight. I have very curly (tight curls), dry hair and my hair does not feel dry even after I straighten it. I put heat protective products in my hair beforehand, but I normally always do and it's never felt this soft. I love the design of the straightener. It is a little heavy for a straightener, but I don't mind the little bit of weight on it. That doesn't bother me. I love the stand it comes with and the cute bag to put it in. Unfortunately the bag doesn't really fit the charger, but that's ok. I love that you can plug it in directly into the straightener or on the stand. What a great idea! The only minor issue is that it doesn't hold a charge for very long. It lasted me about 35-40min on full battery. I didn't set my timer. I will say that even though it doesn't last long, I'm fine with that because after I straightened my hair, I only needed to touch it up at the roots 2 days later and it was a very quick touch up so it was pretty great that I didn't need to plug it in to do that and the battery was still over half way. It does not take long to charge it to full which is a huge plus and It heats up super fast. I swear it felt like less than a minute and it started beeping to let me know that it was ready. I would def recommend this straightener. It does a great job of straightening my very curly hair while leaving it feeling soft and smooth.
