    Wireless Plug is terrible!!!

    I bought this for my wife 2X already. She says it's amazing when it works. The issue we've encountered on both straighteners is the wireless contact cord. In both instances the magnets becomes weak and the unit won't charge. I'm glad we picked up the extended warranty, but for $500 I would expect better quality.

    After 2 years, when warranty expired its not charging anymore. i visited repair center and was told that battery died and just hold onthe unit as they dont have a way yet to repair it. Urgh. This is expensive item and not expecting the poor quality.

    Dont buy

    This straightener does work good, but not for long. Mine went out after just a year. The overheating signal kept turning on even at the lowest setting. Trying to replace it was so difficult. Dyson has terrible customer service. I got a new one after 2 weeks, and after using it only twice, a new warning signal keeps popping up. It is telling me to reset it which is not working. For a brand new straightener to do this is ridiculously. I would expect more for the price. Now i have to deal again with the terrbile customer service for a solution.

    DO NOT BUY THIS FLAT IRON unless you get the additional warrantee from BestBuy. I wish I had read these reviews before buying. Like a lot of other people, the battery died in my flat iron just after the 2 year warrantee expired. After a few more months, it won't even work while plugged in. I contacted Dyson who told me they couldn't do anything since it was out of warrantee. They gave me the number for their repair shop where I could take it to have the battery replaced. Since it's no where near my house, I called them to find out how much it would cost to replace the batteries and was quoted OVER $300. Complete and total rip off! Beyond livid that I spent over $500 on this for it to completely die in less than 3 years. I expected more from Dyson!

    Do not purchase

    Do not buy the Dyson Corrale straightener. My straightener stopped working just outside of the warranty period. I called to troubleshoot and Dyson said it was a non-repairable code. They do not stand behind their products and basically told me I am out of luck. Apparently this is a known issue with this product.
