Battery life is horrible, device is extremely heavy and the charger easily disconnects. Worst part is the teeth on the side of the plates that are supposed to help hold the hair in place… they tug at my hair making for an overall miserable experience.

It was perfect because I did not have to worry about the voltage conversion. It charged long enough for me to straighten my hair but I don’t think I’d have enough to curl though. I put the straightener back on the charging stand during passes. I have not tried it in hybrid mode but the cord is fairly long so I think it would be easy. It’s heavy compared to most straighteners but I got used to the weight quickly so don’t let that deter you. It took some time getting used to the flexing plates but the end result is amazing. My hair feels softer and looks shiner every time I use it. Would definitely recommend this product to someone.

The previous one lasted a long time and Dyson even replaced it without any issues. I purchased a second one while we waited for the replacement. Even the replacement is like new now but the older version. It might be expensive, but you get what you pay for.

The solution to this problem on Dyson website is to relax the grip which I tried and didn’t get a good straightening effect. And at 360degrees with multiple passes my hair became frizzy shortly after. Any low cost straightener will work much better than corrale

I have a lot of hair and it can take me up to 2 hours just to straightener my hair perfectly. 30 minutes into the job, and the Dyson straightener needed to be plugged in. I wish it could last longer.

The Dyson Corrale™ straightener is a cord-free straightener that provides the same thermal performance as corded products, but with cord-free versatility. It provides up to 30 minutes cord-free styling and is fully recharged in just 70 minutes. You can also extend your run time by attaching the magnetic 360ᵒ charging cable for use in hybrid charge mode should you need longer. Also, while in use to help prolong the battery life, we'd recommend placing the straightener back on the dock, between styling sections of your hair.
