Needed the 1 hour battery capacity & floor tools, so I upgraded to the Cyclone. Love the 3 suction levels. Wish I could use it plugged in or cordless. Or Dyson should let you buy an additional battery pack when you need the motorized accessories for bigger rooms as with any other cordless product, but no such luck for now.

Good for small clean ups. Cons: have to wait 48 hours for filter to dry, gets clogged easily, have to empty frequently, shuts off if filter isn't clean, charge doesn't last more than 20 minutes on low setting, 5-10 on max setting, takes up to 6-8 hours to charge, suction isn't as good on low setting. If you have a big house or big messes, this isn't the vacuum for you. I can clean one room on low before it either gets clogged, the filter needs to be cleaned ( which takes 48 hours to dry), or it dies. I was convinced by the salesman that this was the best vacuum and I bought it. Worst decision I have ever made in my entire life. I went there for a vacuum with a cord and he convinced me otherwise. Don't let anybody decide what's best for you. I am absolutely furious that I got conned.

The filter should be cleaned once a month or sooner, depending on how much debris is being picked up. This will ensure it remains running as intended. The new Cyclone V10 vacuum offers our longest run time. It runs for up to 60 minutes on a full charge, or about 35 minutes when using a motorized floor tool.

Best Thing Ive ever purchased

I don't mind vacuum the floors Ceramic Tile and Carpeting. I have installed and sold carpeting for over 40 years and having used nearly every vacuum on the market, I can say with confidence nothing comes close to this unit. Don't even give it a second thought, this vacuum is fantastic.

I am a petite, 5'1" and it is absolutely the perfect vacuum for me. I have never owned a vacuum that is so easy to operate. Storing and recharging is remarkably easy. I had searched for a vacuum that would pick up the smallest dust particles on a bare floor and it performs beyond my expectations. Thank you Dyson for inventing this machine!
