I purchased this vacuum because it is light weight and can be used as a hand held vacuum for cleaning up small messes or vacuuming the car while it also works well as a regular vacuum. It has powered brushes on one of the hand held attachments as well. A great vacuum if you are tired of lugging a heavy vacuum up and down stairs.

Great vacuum cleaner. On low doing wood floors works great Andean do the whole house. On high it works just as good or better then the other 2 Dyson plug in that we have. I would recommend having a small air compressor to clean out after use. The only con I might have is finding a place for the charging unit.

Cyclone V10 is one nice operating compact battery powered vacuum. The many attachments included with it makes any job easy to handle. The only draw back is all the advertising shows 60 minutes of operation per battery charge. This is true on the low speed, but only last for 6 minutes when using the top speed. You can probably do most jobs at a lower speed, but if needed it does run out of charge rather quickly.

Picks up all the Dirt from the Carpet. I mean everything. So powerful that leaves lines on the carpet, just like a proffesional commercial grade $10000 machine. After vacuuming, you will live in dust free invironment. Good things come at a price. Based on my personal experience this vaccine worth every penny paid for.

Had the v8 model and bought this for the longer run time and larger canister. This vacuum has exceeded my expectations by a long shot!! Would have paid twice as much if I knew what an improvement this model is. Do not hesitate for this machine will make your life so much easier!! I promise

Obviously the V10 is a great looking machine through and through, the attachments that came with the absolute were definitely worth it(we have carpet and hardwood floors and pets ). The suction is really impressive and instant. I would possibly like a swappable battery in future models. Worth every penny.

We used the smaller Dyson stick vacuum for about 5 years which was great for small jobs as it only ran for 15 minutes on a charge so we had to drag out the big upright more often than we liked. When the small Dyson started to sputter we decided to go to the cyclone V10 which we love. It does everything we need from our deep pile oriental carpet to scatter rugs - the hard wood floor adapter is amazing as well. We didn't realize that it came with such a great array of tools. If kept on the medium power mode and switching to high power only when needed, we have not had to stop a job because the battery ran down. Also, the canister holds much more than the smaller Dyson and is easy to empty. The washable filter is a plus. My husband has allergies and he is able to use this vacuum without ill effects. We are so happy that this Dyson does everything we need and we can leave the big, heavy, corded, upright in the closet where it belongs.

I love this light and portable vacuum cleaner! It is powerful and able to get into tight spaces easily. The nice accessories and easy charging work well, and it is very easy to clean the filter by putting it under the kitchen faucet and letting it dry out. Battery life is better on the v11 but overall this one is great.

I absolutely love my new Dyson cordless. Our house is approximately 2600 sq feet and I can clean the whole house on one charge. It’s so easy to switch between attachments for the wood floors and the carpet. I find that I vacuum up dog hair more often because it’s so easy to grab it and clean.

I have an older Dyson ball vacuum and thought this would be overkill. But turns out, the cordless option is way more convenient and fun to use. It's great in the kitchen and easier to use for quick clean up in my cars. Amazing product from Dyson. I can't wait to see their electric car.

Vacuum has great suction and very convenient for quick cleanup. 3 levels of suction and various controls on carpet head for more or leads suction. Lots of tools. Great for pet hair. Daughter has two Golden’s and this will pick up air on first pass from hardwood, couches and carpet.

I cannot believe the difference the freedom from cords makes in saving time cleaning! I have a 5000 square foot home, 2 levels. I can vacuum the stairs in 5 minutes, whereas before it was a 15 minute job. I have hand-scraped wood floors through most of our house, excluding bedrooms, and area rugs overlaying in great room and dining. I daily clean, which I call Cruise Ship cleaning, and this vacuum assists greatly. At first I thought one hour of battery life would not be enough, especially with a three hour charging period. However, I took a chance knowing my upright, corded vacuum was a backup. I have not hardly used my upright since unboxing the cordless Cyclone. Usually my cleaning is finished long before the hour is concluded. This vacuum switch is held on while vacuuming so the time that you are moving the furniture, to vacuum underneath, the battery is saved. I would have just let the corded vacuum engine run. I rave about this to friends and family.

I'm usually a shark girl but the sales person talked me into this dyson and I am glad he did it came with more accessories than my last shark. And even though I have to empty the canister more than the shark it actually picks up more than the shark and no smelly filters. I love it

I have as hesitant to buy this vacuum because my old ball Dyson still works great. I finally took the plunge for the cord free and conversion aspects. So far I'm very pleased. It makes sweeping on multiple floors easier and getting dusty door ways and ledges much less of a work out.
