Perfect for my needs on hardwoods and tile. Carpet attachment works great on rugs. Like having different power levels. Plenty of power without having to deal with cords.

Has a design flaw in the canister retention clip. The whole assembly is made of thin cheap plastic and broke after 21 months. Now when emptying the canister there is nothing to keep it attached to the vacuum. The part that broke was a small piece of plastic as wide as a fingernail that caught the retention clip when opening the canister. Normally you would have to depress the clip if you wanted to separate the canister from the vacuum. Only this very thin piece of plastic prevented it from separating. Thankfully dyson did cover it under warranty and the call wasn’t too unpleasant considering they had many of their call centers closed for COVID. Support saved their rating here but beware the flaw exists.

This is my second Dyson handheld with the first being a v6. It's larger and heavier than the v6 but definitely more powerful and more capacity to hold dirt and dust.

this is my second dyson vacuum first i bought the dyson 10 after 2yrs return due to a battery drain fast, very satisfied with dyson 10 longer battery than the dyson 8

I currently had the V6 before purchasing the V10. The V10 battery lasts much longer and is more powerful. I have all hardwood floors and this does an excellent job.

I love this vacuum! It works well and is so convenient since it is cordless. If you have the money to splurge on a higher quality vacuum, I’d highly recommend this one.

Really glad I purchased this vacuum. I have all tile flooring and it's great for that. I'm happy with the Best Buy sale price but it's still expensive. Comes with a lot of unneeded accessories if just needed for tile.

Definitely recommend this vacuum. Have a corded one as well but we use this for everything from cleaning up kids messes to dog/ cat hair. Great on wood floors and carpet.

I love this thing!!! Be careful around little children with this thing! Get to close and they are gone! Just kidding. This is a very powerful little vacuum though

This vacuum has all the power and versatility we needed for those quick spot cleanings. We like that it hangs nicely and out of the way on our laundry room wall.

This has to be one of the best purchases I have made in a long time. The price is higher then most but the quality of this vacuum is amazing. Totally worth the money.

Dyson is a must for any home. Absolute has multiple heads for different purposes of use. The battery can last from 10-60 mins depending on which mode is selected.

When you can say that something SUCKS incredibly AND you still endorse it, that's a GREAT thing. Would buy this product again and again.

I thought long and hard about buying this because of the price but I am so glad I did. The convenience is well worth it and it has a good amount of suction power.

A bit on the pricey side but works well and easy to move between floors in townhome. Easy to maneuver around furniture. Cleans easy and able to store in a small area.

I love this vacuum with the exception that it only suctions in one direction. The convenience of not having to deal with cords is great. I also love that it is so lightweight that even my child can vacuum!

This is exactly what I was looking for. Easy to maneuver and push around. Being paralyzed I needed something like this. No regrets here!

I upgraded from the V8 and can definitely tell the difference in power! Bought the two year warranty for extra piece of mind. Can't ever go wrong with a Dyson!

the good: -tons of power and suction. i would probably consider this a cross between a “pure” stick vacuum and a larger full sized vacuum. also has 3 settings for power, low, medium, and high. on high, you can just about pull the carpet up - it can actually be difficult to move across the floor depending on the surface. -attachments included for just about every surface and situation. they’ve even included a “delicate” floor brush, for surfaces that might be prone to scratching. -60 minute rated battery. i’ve not tested this for a full hour yet, but it’s a definite improvement over earlier models. the bad: -weight - my only real complaint with this vacuum is that because it’s got a bigger battery, stronger motor, etc, that it’s also heavier than other comparable models. depending on how you use it and who’s doing the vacuuming, you may find that your forearms get tired after a bit. -price. at $700, we’re well above the “pricey” range. while maybe not quite as powerful as this, certainly much cheaper options are available (even within the Dyson product line) which might be better options. overall: certainly the most powerful in its class, and very polished and well designed. depending on your needs this could be the perfect vacuum for you, or you might find that its price is a bit too steep. the price and the weight keep me from giving it a full 5 stars personally, but it is still a very good vacuum in my opinion.

The Dyson cyclone V 10 is by far the best cordless vacuum I've used. Great power, and it does give you more time, even in the 2nd mode. Happy with my purchase.
