The actually seems to work better than my Tyson canister and upright vacuums. Should have bought this first and saved the money from there orher machines.

Purchased as a push present for my wife. She loves it. Have had a battery problem which was promptly resolved by customer service.

I bought this when it was on sale. This is the first Dyson I bought. The quality exceeds my expectations. It is powerful and easy to use. Love it!

While it is an innovative product, it is not balanced well in arm fatigue quickly sets in. It may advertise a lengthy run time but if you're running it over any type of carpeted surface at any level of suction the battery lasts maybe 8 minutes at most. If you live in anything other than a studio apartment with hard floors in this is not for you. Does not handle large debris well as it jams on the internal air outlet inside the bin. A larger battery set further back in the handle to balance it properly and allow it to give you a run time that would be sufficient for a two-bedroom home.

I upgraded from the stain pet upright to the new V10 cordless and I don’t regret spending the money and a must have if you have pets and hardwood floors

Dyson has a quality product. Powerful and effective with little weight. Manuverability is a plus as is the size that is manageable for all size users.

Very powerful vacuum. But can also be run with lower power settings to extend vacuuming time. Even at low power setting this vacuum has plenty sucking power,

I've been looking to replace my 15year old Kenmore. It still works, but got tired of having to lug around all that weight. When it came to this Dyson V10, I was really impressed. I was rather skeptical at first on how something so compact and light can compare to the brawn of my Kenmore. The V10 was actually a big improvement in being able to suck up debris...much better than the Kenmore and required much less "muscle effort". It is also nice that it does not need disposable bags that need periodic changing. Does it need improvement? It would be nice to have a longer charge life with replaceable/removal battery unit. For my apartment living space, it's good enough for now. This why I give 4 stars.

We purchased this for primary hard wood flooring however when used on carpets it worked very well. I would have given 5 stars but It was a little hard on the hand/arm unless you switch hands during use.

This is one of my great buys. I love how lightweight it is that even if I am carrying my baby, I can still clean the house. Performs really well.

Comparing it to an old vacuum it is amazing. Great power and battery life. We use it on wood floors and carpet and amazing. Definitely recommend.

Cleans even better than expected. Would recomend to anyone looking for great suction and cleaning from a cordless vac. Out performs our corded dyson.

We chose the Dyson Cyclone V10 after speaking to a Best Buy salesperson, who also had dogs. When we got home, we vacuumed with our "other" vacuum and then used the Cyclone on the same carpet. We were amazed how much more fur and dander was in the Cyclone's easy to empty bin. The time we save by vacuuming once, instead over and over on the same carpets, and the confidence that the carpets are as "fur-less" as possible out-weighs the cost. We definitely recommend this vacuum to anyone who wants carpets, hardwood and tile floors to be the cleanest possible.

I will never buy another vacuum!! I absolutely love my Dyson. I love the cordless feature. Super easy to use and clean the filter.

Wow, I’m a pet owner and have had several vacuums including the model before this one. The upgrades a nice, picks up dog hair, like poof your gone.

Very satisfied despite spending slightly on the high end, but it’s worth every penny. The suction on this unit is ridiculously strong and for long periods.

Very good cleaning , a lot of attachments to get in several types of spaces. Would like longer run time on high setting. On lesser settings it does fine.

This Dyson is the best one yet! Powerful suction you can really feel on the wood floors and carpet. The floor attachment gets all the dust off.

Prior to purchasing this vacuum I had gone through 2 vacuums in 1 year due to dog hair. This vacuum more than keeps up and keeps dog hair in check.
