      Hello Richard, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson Cyclone V10 Absolute features two cleanerheads; a torque drive head with spinning brush bar - which is a great multi-floor tool, and our soft roller head, which was designed to be used on your hard floors. The soft woven nylon and anti-static carbon fibers make this the ideal tool for picking up finer dirt and dust from bare floor surfaces. 

      We speak to our owners frequently and they tell us that cordless vacuums have changed the way they clean. We hear they clean more often, but in shorter bursts, spending less than 20 minutes per clean. The new Cyclone V10 vacuum offers our longest run time. It runs for up to 60 minutes on a full charge, or about 35 minutes when using a motorized floor tool.
