We bought this in Dec & now it is not working. We clean it after each use. Just so disappointed with it. Hope I can return it!

2 years 8 months after purchase, fully charged but cannot turn on. Tried contacting Dyson, they use text messages or email to contact you, haven’t heard from them yet even though they say a Agent will be with you shortly. Didn’t think I needed the extra warranty since it is so expensive, but wished I’d purchased it since the 2 year manufacturers warranty just expired. Really Upset, thought Dyson was quality.

It's not as good as other people said. Battery life sucks, unless you keep using level "Low". You might use it as a "second" vacuum machine at home.

Gets clogged all the time. Short battery life. I went back to my regular Dyson upright.

This new design V10 vacuum from Dyson can truly be your ONLY vacuum for your home, car...your everything. Set up is simple, all you need is to use the hardware provided to easily mount the charging cradle on the wall...plug the V10 in and charge for about 3.5 hours (for the first charge). Once you charge and are ready to go, just pick from the various attachments provided...shorter ones for cleaning your car or minor touch up here or there or use the longer stick attachments to use as you would a traditional vacuum. There are two brush heads for the job, one that is for more delicate flooring materials and one for your normal everyday cleanup. You can choose from different power settings on the unit itself and on the brushes, one interesting issue I had was the V10 is SO powerful that I had to back down from the max setting on an Oriental rug in my house as it was pulling so forcefully the vacuum couldn’t move unless I lowered the suction...now that’s some power. The V10 picks up anything you throw at it, is just big enough and has the power of the best traditional vacuum you can think of and then some. Get this vacuum, you won’t regret it.

Worst purchase I've ever made. Doesn't hold a charge, Difficult to get started. Filter stays wet long after washing it. Thought about returning it many times, but just never did it. Good money poor;y spent. Save yourself the disappointment.

the trigger broke rendering it useless after just 3 years. This was too expensive for a simple piece of plastic to be so cheaply made.

We were not happy with the amount of run time on his cordless vacuum. This vacuum died after about 15 minutes and it was not even a constant 15 minutes. We returned this item.

The Dyson V10 Absolute cordless is an awesome vacuum! I have had a Dyson upright before. But it was so clunky and it seemed the cord was always in the way. I hated using it. I bit the bullet and bought the V10 Absolute. I am so glad I did. Now I have a vacuum I actually use almost daily. It’s so light and easy to use. The attachments are great and make it really easy to clean. As to the comments regards the battery on high only goes for 7 minutes, I have never had to use it on high. I have done a two bedroom apartment on medium with lots of battery left. So glad I got it. Worth every penny!

Cracked the wind tunnel part the first month when my son knocked it over onto our pergo floor...

Loud, doesnt pick up dirt well, and feels cheaply made.

(04/20/18) I purchased this vacuum a few days ago. So far, I have used it until the battery died. On the low setting I was easily able to pick up dog hair. We have 3 dogs that shed a little bit all year, and blow their coats twice a year. We are currently in that season where they are blowing their coats. Has I used this vacuum, I had the empty the collection container ~6 times. It could not be any easier to empty. It is a little annoying that you must remove anything attached to the vacuum to empty, but it is a very minor annoyance. Really, the only thing I have a minor gripe about in that the max fill line on the canister is about half way up the actual canister. It just seems a little deceiving what you see this big plastic collection container, and you realize that you can only fill it half way. Again, this is a minor grip. I did use the MAX setting and when over the areas I used the low setting on. It just picked up some extra fine dirt that the low setting left. It did drain the battery quick. You could feel the vacuum heat up while using it. To conclude, so far so good. This vacuum is wonderful at its job.

We just built a 2500sf house with all wood look porcelain and a couple area rugs. We always keep our house clean and I was really surprised when I bought the V10 absolute today and used it for the first time. It picked up all kinds of hair and dust that was not visible to the naked eye. I vacuumed the majority of the house in 20-25 minutes on low setting and only used one bar. I did use the max mode on the area rug and it did phenomenal. Our tile has a lot of texture so it’s hard to say which cleaner head did the best job. I’m sure if you have actual hardwood floors then you’d probably want the V10 absolute but with the tile I have, the Motorhead or animal probably would’ve worked just as well. I would highly recommend this vacuum to anyone that keeps their house fairly clean and just wants to make cleaning a little fun and a lot easier. I researched for several weeks before deciding on the V10 absolute due to the price and my needs.

I purchased the Dyson Cordless 2 weeks ago. I have an English Cream Golden Retriever that sheds. I vacuum daily and it is amazing how much it picks up the dog hair. I use it on the lowest battery setting and can vacuum for an hour with battery life to spare. I have the carpet and the floor tools. I think the floor tool is worth the extra money. This is an amazing vacuum due to the light weight and small size. It is easy to take from the closet and do a quick run without a cord. It lays flat to get under furniture where as an upright vacuum is too bulky to slide under a sofa. I also threw it in the back of my car to travel to my daughters house to use there. She loved that it was so quiet. Highly recommend! Worth the money.
