Great Vacuum/ Small Battery Life

Picks up hair very well and is perfect for laminate tile.. We have a dog the sheds quite a bit and this vacuum picks it up very well... Battery life is the only negative, so if you have anything bigger than a 2,100 square foot home, it will need to be recharged to finish the house.

Called Dyson & they sent us a replacement battery. Still didn't work, now they are sending us the body. Owned vacuum for 3 weeks & 2 of those weeks we've been waiting on replacement parts. I would never buy another Dyson product. I would have given it ZERO stars if I could. So far it has been a total waste of money.

Quick and easy to use

Suction power is great, and it's lightweight and super easy to use/ switch out attachments. The only reason for the 4 star instead of 5, is the battery dies after about 3 to 4 rooms. However, we keep the suction level on full power, which does drain the battery faster.

Highly recommend. This is my second Dyson stick vacuums, other one at home.

She was right I love it so much, it's light weight, easy to operate, very powerful, and I don't have to worry about unplugging and replugging it in another room.

Anytime I need to do a quick cleanup it’s so much better than using the corded Dyson. Also love making it a handheld to clean the couches and stairs. The only thing I do not like about it is the battery time

The light indicating something is stuck keeps lighting up whenever I use it in this mode and the vacuum will turn off in less than a minute. I have cleaned it and checked for anything that might have gotten stuck but did not find anything. Definitely not worth the price.

It picks up everything. I vacuum 2 times a week and it is amazing how full the canister gets with dust and debris. I feel reassured that my place is clean when I vacuum now.

However, the location of the primary mechanism (high on the handle) makes it a bit unwieldy/awkward for a senior citizen to utilize easily. Probably ok for those younger.

I am happy to hear that you've found the suction and cleaning ability of this machine to be so good, thus far in your use. You can try to hold the unit lower down the handle to make the unit easier to handle. Please also keep in mind that Dyson cordless vacuums will feature a run-time enhancing light touch trigger, which requires little pressure to run the unit as well. It may also prove helpful to ensure the unit is held with a firm, but not a very tight grasp, given that the light touch trigger does not require a very hard press to grasp or operate. The only thing I dont like about Dyson is the fact each product you buy has all different attachment connections. Also I think the battery life could be a little better. Not sure if mine has an issue.

It's easier to move around, it picks up dust better, and the chamber is bigger so there is less time spent emptying it out.

The battery life is not great at all. I’m finding that if I’m working on more than one room or have a large project, one charge is not enough. I’m constantly worrying about the battery life. Also, a lot of things get clogged. For example I just had apple Jack’s cereal clog the machine today. It only picks up dirt well. Now I need to find a vacuum that does good with food spills like dry cereal. I have a toddler to pick up after. For the price, I thought it would have been a lot better.

Posted .Hello, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're sorry that you've found the battery life of the Cyclone V10 Animal to be so disappointing in your use. Please keep in mind that your machine will offer three suction modes for use with cleaning around your home. Along with three different suction modes, you will also have a suction control slider at the cleaner head for use with cleaning across both hard floors and carpet. As a result, we would not expect you to require the MAX suction setting, as it is only intended for use with tough cleaning jobs and also provides the least amount of run time, while providing additional power for the job.
In suction setting 2, Dyson Cyclone V10 will provide up to 20 minutes of run time with a motorized cleaner head or up to 30 minutes when used in suction setting 1. Without the motorized cleaner head, Dyson Cyclone V10 will provide up to 60 minutes of run time on a full charge, making it our longest running cordless model to date. Just slap on the corner attachment, point at the devilish fiend, and suck it right up killing it instantly. Oh and it’s great at cleaning, too.

So useful with cleaning your car with all the different tools even the couch. All around amazing. Easy to install the wall mount as well. Highly Recommend
