I love my Dyson. Picks up all the animal hair amazingly and goes a long time before needing to be charged.

We bought this as a 2nd vacuum to a full sized standard Dyson. The Cyclone does just as good a job and easier to use. The full size models are made with EXTREMELY cheap lightweight plastic now. I know this because I've been buying Dysons for years. While the Cyclone is made of the same material, because it's so lightweight you wont feel like it's going to break in your hands just by lifting it. The full size models feel very flimsy when you lift it by the handle because they are so heavy but made out of cheap plastic. The Cyclone cleans just as good but unfortunately is just as expensive or more than the heavyweight models. Not so good. That's why it loses a star. Battery life is adequate if you don't use it at high setting which I never need to, even on rugs.

I bought this vacuum a month ago because I needed something wireless and compact for my first story. It is very convenient and it has a strong suction power. I have a bissell for my second floor and I find myself using more now this one than the other because of the simplicity of not dealing with the cord. I read a lot of bad reviews in regards to the battery but it’s worked perfectly for me. The only reason why, so far, I don’t give it 5 stars is because it is heavy. Using it to vacuum furniture is very tiring or any part of the house where you have to lift it up.

I bought the Dyson V10 Animal cordless vacuum specifically because it was marketed as ideal for pet owners—and because the cordless design sounded convenient. But after months of use, I can honestly say it’s been more frustrating than helpful. The suction power is underwhelming, especially considering the price and the fact that it's supposed to handle pet hair. It just doesn't pull up debris as well as you'd expect from a premium vacuum—even on hard floors or light rugs. Worse, the dust bin is a pain to empty without creating a mess. Cleaning the vacuum becomes its own chore, which defeats the point. Battery life? Forget it. Even after a full charge, the vacuum doesn’t last long enough to clean more than a room or two—especially on the higher settings where you actually get decent suction. And then it takes forever to recharge. After all that, I find myself going back to my old, cheaper, corded vacuum. Sure, I have to fight with the cord, but at least it actually cleans. After reading other reviews, I can see I’m not alone: Many people report disappointing battery life Others complain about the messy dustbin and weak suction And quite a few agree that for pet hair, it’s not as effective as promised Yes, it looks sleek and the idea of cordless is nice—but if you actually need it to do the job, especially with pets, this vacuum falls flat. For the price, I expected a lot more. Definitely not worth it in my opinion.

As good as you would expect. Great suction and easy to operate.

I have had this vaccum less than 1 month and so far it has been great....but feels very similair to the $200 amazon version. I like the mechanism that ejects the dust cannister so you can empty the vaccum without getting your hands dirty BUT the canister fills up so fast. I can barely do my 1 flight of carpet stairs without dumping it. The battery lasts maybe 30 minutes on the medium suction. This is a 10/10 for an apartment with wood floors but not that impressive if you have a big house/carpet/3 dogs. I am really hoping the lifespan of this vaccum is the justification for the price.
