    The battery wore out within a year. The Max power only works for 10 Minutes.

      Hello Terry, this is Kelly with Dyson. We're sorry to hear that the battery in your Cyclone V10 Animal has degraded at such a fast pace. The actual run time you will receive will vary based on power mode, dust level, floor type and the attachment/tool used. Dyson cord-free machines offer anywhere from 5-60 minutes of run time on a single battery charge. If you use the max power mode for everyday cleaning jobs, or with every use, you will find that your battery will lose power at a much faster pace. We would also recommend allowing your machine some time to cool after using in this mode, as charging a battery while warm can also cause premature degradation.
