    less than a month and already broken. have to take it to service center located 1 hr driving distance. truly disappointing

    This is to only be used for small spaces the battery dies quickly. Not worth what we paid for it. Wish we could return it now.

      Hello Cynthia, this is Kelly with Dyson. We can confirm that with our cord-free machines, you will need to wash your filter monthly, regardless of how often the machine is used. Even if the filter does not appear dirty, that's not to say that there isn't microscopic dirt/debris trapped on the inside.     Dyson Stick Vacuum Delivers!

    This stick vacuum has tremendous suction--until it has too much pet hair in it. The pet hair/dust/dirt can quickly clog the top of the collection chamber where it is not easily seen or cleaned out (I use my fingers to pull the wads of stuff out). When the collection chamber is open, all the debris collected comes out except for what is stuck in the upper part of the chamber. The accessories with the Dyson stick are great. The stick is easy to maneuver. Overall, I'm pleased with this vacuum.
