    Dyson cyclone V10 animal

    Light weight. Suction good but battery run time is NO WHERE near the length of time that the manufacture boast for this product. I run this vacuum only on hard surface and instead of the 40 to 60 minutes we read it lasts online it last no more than 8 minutes. Extremely disappointed.

      Hi there, this is Krystal with Dyson. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review on the Dyson Cyclone V10 Animal. It sounds as if you are using this in MAX mode. With the motorized tool in use and using MAX mode you will get 5 minutes of run time with a full charge. Switching to the suction mode 2 you will get 20 minutes of run time with a full charge with a motorized tool in use. Then in standard mode you will get 35 minutes with a motorized tool in use. 
       
      Without the motorized tool you will get 5 minutes in MAX mode,  30 minutes in mode 2 and  60 minutes in standard mode.

    It's a Dyson, the vacuum looks and works brilliantly. It's a bit pricey but sucks like a champ....That is until the battery faults after less than a year and I have a $500 brick.

    Can’t hold a charge after weeks-?

    Vacuum can’t run for more than 70 seconds or less now. We don’t use it that often for 60 DAYS to have this type of issue. This was the 2nd time we have had the issue?. It does work well, but to have a vacuum that can’t hold a charge after less than 60 days is not worth the premium price

    Good at first but don't be fooled. Will not last.

    The item worked great at first. Then all the problems it constantly needs the filter cleaned in which you have to wait two or three days for it to dry. Non stop filter problems were it just cuts in and out while vacuuming and today I have had enough with it. think I will look into cordless shark and see how that goes.

      Thank you for your review. This is Miella from Dyson. We're happy to hear you've enjoyed the Dyson V10 Animal cordless machine. The V10 was designed to give the same ability as a corded machine, with the benefit of a cordless design.

      We're sorry to hear you're having the filter issue with your machine. The Dyson V10 filter requires maintenance once a month and does need to be completely dry before putting it back onto the machine as to not damage the V10. However, once dried and installed, your V10 should be good to go to keep on cleaning.

    Too good to be true..

    After 96 days of buying this v10, the battery died. Their website is full of fancy gimmicks, finding answers on the warranty only gave vague information. Other than this, I loved it...
