This is a good little vac. However, I don't see it as a replacement for your large, plug-in "Binford 500". Also, it doesn't stand alone. It needs to be hung on the bracket (provided). Finally, it comes with a host of loose attachments which need to somehow be stored. I checked with the Dyson website, and they offer another bracket (more crap on the wall), or an obnoxious wire rack which holds everything. Even the upscale vacs a long time ago had a strong cardboard storage container for the attachments. Good? Yes, but not that good. Its an overpriced trendy little appliance that I'd never buy again.

Lasts atleast 3x longer than older model. Having to take nozzle off to empty is a little less convenient. I've had issues with Dyson honoring their warranty.

Works well on hardwoods and incredibly well on carpets. We have a golden retriever and the V10 Animal will remove everything from our normal area rug and our shag area rug. Wall mounting was another nice touch and the vacuum and attachments seem to be very durable. Very satisfied with purchase!

It is very easy to use and very light the battery last for long time that is the plus.

Love this vacuum for our house. We have two dogs that shed a lot and it does a great job of picking up their fur. We don't need to charge it too often even though its battery life is limited to only one hour. The only con is that I don't like having to press on the button for it to be on the whole time. I wish there was a switch.

It is a great technology, efficient, but its tank is too small, so if you have carpets and pets, you have to empty this tank 3 times or more.

Great invention very easy reliable. Energy savings too. Very easy to handle you can vecume your car too..

On high it will only run maybe 10 minutes. Not my favorite floor vaccum, but works great for the ceilings

This cord free vacuum is very convenient because the cord is not getting tangled in between your feet.

This is the best vacuum I have owned and it takes up little to no space in my tiny home.

The Dyson is easy to use and comfortable too. Both my husband and I enjoy using the vacuum which is very rare !
