The vacuum does not stand upright and must be leaned against something or put on the floor. It does not have lights so seeing what might be on the floor is less than ideal. The "on" trigger must be held manually while using the vacuum as there is no trigger lock. Finger gets sore after a while. Admittedly it was a less expensive model, but it was way overpriced for what is provided.

I can confirm that this model, along with our other cord-free machines, do not lock into place so they can be stood upright. With regard to the trigger mechanism, we know that battery run time is a very important aspect of performance for our owners, so we developed a trigger that helps maximize the amount of time you can clean on one charge. We chose a light-touch trigger over an on/off switch to ensure that battery life is never wasted by letting the machine run when it's not in active use. It is incredible the amount of staff that picks up. The only negative is that the battery only last 20 min. We were under the impression it could last 45 min.
