I purchased it based off of reviews and honestly was disappointed when I purchased it. This vacuum is heavy and the battery life does not last long enough to even clean a room. The attachments are the only good thing about this vacuum but definitely not worth the price. So disappointed!

Posted .Hello, this is Kelly with Dyson. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with the Dyson Cyclone V10 Animal. We're sorry to hear that you were disappointing with the run time. We speak to our owners frequently and they tell us that cordless vacuums have changed the way they clean. We hear they clean more often, but in shorter bursts, spending less than 20 minutes per clean. The new Cyclone V10 vacuum offers our longest run time. It runs for up to 60 minutes on a full charge, or about 35 minutes when using a motorized floor tool. Your run time will also vary, depending on the suction mode you're using. While High suction does provide the most power, it also offers the least amount of run time - 5 minutes. High power is intended for larger debris or more stubborn messes that require that boost of power. Most households will find that low mode is sufficient for everyday vacuuming.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Check honest reviews on YouTube before buying, I ended up returning it because yes it was convenient and light but the fact that it last only 10 mins or so on high suction was a dealbreaker for me. So in the end I’ll take a cord vacuum over this one so I know the power will last until I say I’m done with it.

Thank you for your review. This is Miella from Dyson. We're sorry to hear of your experience with your Dyson V10 Animal cordless vacuum. The Dyson V10 Animal provides 3 suction power modes: suction mode 1, suction mode 2 and max mode. Suction mode 1 and suction mode 2 are ideal for most cleaning tasks. The max mode is meant to be a temporary boost of power for extremely persistent messes and is not designed to be the main mode used.

My issue is that you need to hold the "trigger" the entire time one is vacuuming; it's a bit of an annoyance.
