Three people have told me that the shark with external batteries so you can charge one while you are using another is the better way to go. Wish I knew that before I bought this one :-(

The Dyson V10 cordless machine features up to 60 minutes of continuous run time, but use in max and medium mode can be shorter, as these are meant to be used as temporary boosts while standard mode is ideal for most cleaning tasks. Dyson V10 animal no good.

First one quit working and out of warranty. Just bought another for Christmas and 4 months later the battery is getting hot and lasting 5 min even on low setting.

Worked well at first but after the 1st cleaning it clogs every 5 minutes. I literally have to stick a knife in the side to unclog this every few minutes. I am going back to a conventional Vacuum what a waste of my money. I wish I never threw out my old cheap one that picked up way better and NEVER got clogged up. This is horrible for pet hair. The only plus is that it is cordless. BUYER BEWARE do not buy this if you have pets.

Also is heavier than last model I had. If I don’t throw away the box already I would have returned it.. would prefer a quieter vacuum and much lighter model.
