It sucked and cleaned well for about 6 months and then it clogged constantly, battery life is short and the brush attachment is starting to deteriorate. I really expected this beautiful looking vacuum to last more than a year but I think it sucks.

Posted .Hello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. I am sorry to learn that you've been so unhappy with your Dyson Cyclone V10 Animal Cord-Free vacuum. Your vacuum will have three suction modes for use with cleaning around your home. Along with three different suction modes, you will also have a suction control slider at the cleaner head for use with cleaning across both hard floors and carpet. As a result, we wouldn't expect that you'd require the MAX suction setting, as that's only really intended for use with tough cleaning jobs or larger debris. It also provides the least amount of run time.
In suction setting 2, Dyson Cyclone V10 will provide up to 20 minutes of run time with a motorized cleaner head or up to 30 minutes when used in suction setting 1. Without the motorized cleaner head, Dyson Cyclone V10 will provide up to 60 minutes of run time on a full charge, making it our longest running cordless model to date.
